A story was on the Herd a couple of weeks ago...I still find hard to believe. Garrett would actually cut out all the negative plays in a game tape review...because he didn't want to hurt team moral.

I'm like..... ***???? :omg:

How are players supposed to get better...if they don't know they are making a mistake to begin with? If this story is true....then it would explain a lot why this team doesn't get better. They don't even acknowledge their mistakes....Jesus what a bad idea. :banghead:

And who the heck is he fooling? The players were out there seeing it with their own eyes; you can't just have them pretend a bad play they were in for doesn't exist.

Game of Thrones, except in this case no one wants to actually set on the throne. They just want to eat mutton and chicken and drink lots of ale. PS. And wear nice clothes and drive nice cars.

Says there’s a lack of accountability. If Philly wins next week, there will be a lot of drama released. I also recall that there is a division amongst the defense. Broaddus talked about it earlier this season. Some are Pro-Marinelli, and some are Pro-Richard (Jaylon and D-Law). Might be why our defense sucks and can’t do anything right.

it is insane to have 2 DC's and neither one is completely in charge !! how is that supposed to work??
We have a HC who wants to be play caller, and a young rookie OC who was forced on the HC, and that is not a good recipe for success either.

I don’t think there is one DC on this team. They split responsibility and you can’t do that. There can be only one.

For the people who really think Garrett is a good coach who deserves to be absolved of blame, why would he coach this team with all these handicaps of Jerry if he really is that good?

We blame Jerry for Garrett being a puppet but last I checked, he wasnt forced to coach this team. If he was as good as some say, he should have left and coached elsewhere and been successful with more control.

Jerry is problem, Garrett is just as bad at his job.

For those who really believes this, tell them I have some beach front property in the desert I would like to sell?

That's what I was thinking that will hear a lot more about what's going on with this team after the season or if Jason Garrett gets fired? I saw one story I'm not sure if someone posted it on here about half of the defense being on Marinelli side the other half on Richard side? I'm sure there's a lot of divided going on somewhere I'm not sure if we'll ever ever hear all of that? I still will beat that dead horse about culture though and as I say it starts at the top with Jerry Jones but Jason Garrett culture has not been great for this team either. So like many on here I thought about walking away but I've had those thoughts before and here I am every Sunday watching the games. I remember the Landry era and getting upset over losses but at least I could take away one thing we competed at times we shot ourselves in the foot but for the most part we put forth the best effort we could and we just got beat there were some bad calls Viking Super Bowls against Pittsburgh the first two and the heartbreaking loss to the Colts it happens but the way things go on today it just blows my mind

Well the defense held Philadelphia to 17 points and I would say you could even say less than that because of the NFL offense I did not see time with possession yet but I'll guarantee you the defense played over half the game? Pretty tough when you keep getting putting on the field most of the game? But I would have to agree there seems to be some division or some issue somewhere there
Defense was facing a lot of backups, gave up 17 but they also missed 2 FGs.
Philly dominated TOP.....that is by definition as much on the defense as it is the offense.

Having said all that, the defense played way better than the offense.
