its a Mexican stand offI don't think Dak committed to showing up if they tagged him.

yeswhat if dak refuses to sign the tag? Can he do that?
It was never really about expecting two firsts in return. It's about finding his real market value - instead of bidding against yourself.
Could be wrong, but I suspect this means Dak sits out the OTA's and, possibly, TC.
That applies to players still under contract. That's not Dak, he can't be forced to show up for anything, he just doesn't get paid until he signs his tag and then he is legally bound to show up.With the new CBA he cant do that because he will be fined everyday and the teams cant ignore the fine or pay it for the players. It's now on the player completely to pay.
No - puts him in top 3Shouldn't he be getting more?
What does the start of FA have to do with it? Dak isn't going anywhere, he's been tagged. They can only use one tag.
We are. Someone mentioned getting Cooper deal done ASAP.Oh I thought we were talking about Dak in this thread. He got the tag.
what is the benefit of that? If you’re not a franchise trying to compete for superbowls then What’s even the point?
So you go sign Rivers, he throws 25 interceptions and you go 6-10? Is that the plan?

Which he isn't
This notion that he has to reset the QB market is absurd.
Said it before, but I seriously think some would rather Dak get a crazy high deal and the team suffer than him take a little less and the team be better. And all the Dak Boyz rejoice!
Could alter our Free Agency/Draft strategy.its a Mexican stand off
