The Packers' lack of strong ownership has really messed Aaron Rodgers' time in GB up. The front office refuses to give him the pieces he needs on offense. They should have multiple Super Bowls with him at the helm.

Jerry can be a complete lunatic, but at least he's a real owner who might actually listen to Aaron Rodgers. That being said, Rodgers is under contract and I'm not really moving anything to get him.

You know what? Speaking of Jerry and his sometimes wacky decisions. Going by some of the stuff I've seen over the last two drafts I can see why Jerry wants the control that he has.

If I was an owner I would definitely want a GM, but only to take care of the financials. No way would I want someone else being in control of drafting. This way if a mistake is made, I only have myself and those advising me to blame. But I would want final say.

I really wouldn't know what to do as an owner in the Eagles situation. GB either but I'm not sure who drafted that QB.

Zeke is "our boy" isn't he?

And like I said...I find it odd....in fact down right despicable, that I am defending a player...that I've been accused of hating...and being attacked for it. That is some messed up stuff right there dude. You have some serious issues.

Zeke is on my team Rodgers ain't. Hard to believe I need to explain this to you. But people will be as-....er people. I guess.
So you judge a man’s character based on the team he’s on, not by his actions? That is what’s messed up, I hope you never have kids.

Based on wanting 4 years n his new contract instead of 5 offered?

Absolutely. Cowboys have made a more than generous offer to him.

Hes surrounded by one of the best OL in football, premier running back, and one top 10 reciever. Now Gallup is emerging and lamb is just pure beast mode.

Damn near 80% of the quarterbacks would kill for half of what Dallas has provided Dak.

Dak is an above average quarterback(not elite) but how much of it is because of the talent around him? If he wants elite money and less time he's going to have to step his game up a notch to warrant that demand.

Im all for someone bettering themselves which in this case is money wise but cmon man look at the massive talent your surrounded by. They have basically made your career for you

LOL. In 2016, people like you literally screamed about "all the talent" Dak is surrounded by. 4 FULL seasons later with a boat load of personnel turnover except RB, and people like you are STILL screaming about "all the talent" Dak has.

Give it a rest. Did you stop and think, maybe the reason it appears that Dallas has "all this talent" is BECAUSE of Dak Prescott?

The OL has seen quite a bit of turnover...The TEs from 2016 are no longer even here...the WRs are all gone...even the OC/Offense staff is completely different.

And how do you know that Gallop is not a product of Dak? Cooper who was doing nothing for the Raiders, and Lamb? You do realize Lamb has even taken a SNAP at PRACTICE yet, right?

The one constant from 2016 to 2020 is Dak Prescott...I am going to go with DAK being the reason why Dallas offense "is soo talented" instead of pieces we have no idea how they look (Lamb), what they could do outside of Dak (Gallop), and a "top 10 wr" who was producing nothing with Carr (Cooper).

A rod to the Cowboys has been shot down a lot, but am I the only one who takes no joy in winning a super bowl with a QB that was the face of another franchise for many years?

Say Aaron Rodger has a temper tantrum and wants out of Green Bay because they just signed their future qb

He is signed for the next 4 years at between $22-25 million per year. A significant discount to dak and even at his grandpa age probably still 3x the qb. He doesn’t have that much wear on his tires.

Not sure what his current relationship is with McCarthy.

Maybe the worst thing about how long the Dak situation has taken is the inundation of fantasy island QB threads on this board?

Dream on, it's not going to happen.

I really hope that does not happen because if he wants out of GB he’s going to end up a 49er, bank on it.

I don’t think I could cheer for him.

I think he’s the 2nd most talented QB I’ve ever seen now that Patrick Mahomes is doing his thing but that guy has ruined a lot of Sunday’s and Seasons for our franchise.

He’s not likeable off the field either.

I just wish he would go away.. Retire from the game and just disappear.

Sorry but these QBs today are products of a league that doesnt allow teams to play defense.

Mahommes is good today, but seeing guys like Cunningham and Young do what he does now, but doing it when teams could literally try and kill QBs makes what he's doing now not so impressive to me.

I think Mike McCarthy is a very reasonable man, while Aaron Rodgers is a very headstrong diva. Even some of his teammates feel that way. He shouldn't continue being a distraction to the team any longer than what he has already. In the end, he'll only hurt himself to the point of making his value depreciate accordingly. Yes, he's a highly talented QB but his over-inflated ego isn't doing him nor his team justice. It's a shame for all concerned.

To me, it speaks volumes that Aaron Rodgers is having the same problems with Matt LaFleur that he had with McCarthy. See a pattern?:omg:

Let be realistic here with any prospects of Rodgers leaving GB. Rodgers knows for sure that he won't be threatened by the incoming QB.

Aside from that, he's under contract and Green Bay isn't likely to allow him to be traded unless he makes his presence totally unworkable.

You can't be series. Dak is the product of the talent around him. Granted his rookie year was great .

Offensive line: Fredericks , Smith, and Martin were already top offensive players in the league before Dak. Oline was already one of the best in the league

Receivers: Dak had Dez and Williams which were already proven receivers in football. Granted it was towards the end of their careers however that duo was still better then a good majority of the league. Cooper was a proven top 10 receiver, 1000 yard receiver, and one of the top 5 route runners in football prior to the cowboys. That is until he gave up on Oakland. You don't give up a first rounder for a receiver who produced nothing. Gallup had an ok rookie year and a break out year last year. We will see if this continues which it should be as he has shown flashes of great talent. Now I consider Williams mediocre

Tight Ends: Witten was already a proven A+ tight end before Daks time. Granted like Dez & Willams, Dak caught him at the end of his career. Was he great.... no but was he terrible....no. Still better then what most teams had

Running back: The man plays with arguably the best back in football since he walked on the field. A good running game opens up the offense to a whole new level

The one constant from 2016 to 2020 has been Zeke not Dak. I'm going to go with it's the pieces surrounding Dak that makes the offense look so good. Damn near every quarterback would kill to have what Dak inherited or now has. Now am i saying Dak is a bum? absolutely not hes above average not elite.

IF he was elite or was some savior that makes everyone look good JJ would have no problem giving him what he wants.

Now look at what Wentz did with the Eagles last season. He literally took a practice squad offense to the playoffs. Thats making others look good. Wentz is naturally better gifted then Dak but can't stay on the field to save his life. I would rather have Dak

Hell lets see what Dak can actually do behind good coaching before we label him good or bad. Coaching staff has always been a cancer even before his time
