LOL. In 2016, people like you literally screamed about "all the talent" Dak is surrounded by. 4 FULL seasons later with a boat load of personnel turnover except RB, and people like you are STILL screaming about "all the talent" Dak has.
Give it a rest. Did you stop and think, maybe the reason it appears that Dallas has "all this talent" is BECAUSE of Dak Prescott?
The OL has seen quite a bit of turnover...The TEs from 2016 are no longer even here...the WRs are all gone...even the OC/Offense staff is completely different.
And how do you know that Gallop is not a product of Dak? Cooper who was doing nothing for the Raiders, and Lamb? You do realize Lamb has even taken a SNAP at PRACTICE yet, right?
The one constant from 2016 to 2020 is Dak Prescott...I am going to go with DAK being the reason why Dallas offense "is soo talented" instead of pieces we have no idea how they look (Lamb), what they could do outside of Dak (Gallop), and a "top 10 wr" who was producing nothing with Carr (Cooper).
You can't be series. Dak is the product of the talent around him. Granted his rookie year was great .
Offensive line: Fredericks , Smith, and Martin were already top offensive players in the league before Dak. Oline was already one of the best in the league
Receivers: Dak had Dez and Williams which were already proven receivers in football. Granted it was towards the end of their careers however that duo was still better then a good majority of the league. Cooper was a proven top 10 receiver, 1000 yard receiver, and one of the top 5 route runners in football prior to the cowboys. That is until he gave up on Oakland. You don't give up a first rounder for a receiver who produced nothing. Gallup had an ok rookie year and a break out year last year. We will see if this continues which it should be as he has shown flashes of great talent. Now I consider Williams mediocre
Tight Ends: Witten was already a proven A+ tight end before Daks time. Granted like Dez & Willams, Dak caught him at the end of his career. Was he great.... no but was he terrible....no. Still better then what most teams had
Running back: The man plays with arguably the best back in football since he walked on the field. A good running game opens up the offense to a whole new level
The one constant from 2016 to 2020 has been Zeke not Dak. I'm going to go with it's the pieces surrounding Dak that makes the offense look so good. Damn near every quarterback would kill to have what Dak inherited or now has. Now am i saying Dak is a bum? absolutely not hes above average not elite.
IF he was elite or was some savior that makes everyone look good JJ would have no problem giving him what he wants.
Now look at what Wentz did with the Eagles last season. He literally took a practice squad offense to the playoffs. Thats making others look good. Wentz is naturally better gifted then Dak but can't stay on the field to save his life. I would rather have Dak
Hell lets see what Dak can actually do behind good coaching before we label him good or bad. Coaching staff has always been a cancer even before his time
