I’m sorry, did I say something that was non factual or did the truth just hurt your feelings?=
No
Apparently they’re not that intimidated, he faced less stacked boxes last year than 23 other RB’s and it was also the lowest amount of times in his career.
But this is based on a definition of stacked box that expired in about 2009.

8-man fronts isn't the barometer anymore with how often teams use 11 personnel. 7 is.

Cool, so when his supporters were using the stacked box excuse whenever he didn’t have good games it really wasn’t a valid excuse. Got it, been saying that all along.

IIRC, his rookie year he faced more stacked boxes than most RB’s (if not all) and his fans talked about how impressive he was to do what he did under those circumstances but now I know that was all bs.

I started this thread and in no way meant it to be a Zeke bashing thread. He looks great this year. I can see now how people might take it that way though. He had an excellent game.
The point of the game I'm talking about is the drive that started at end of 3rd quarter into the 4th quarter.

(0:00 - 3rd) (Shotgun) E.Elliott up the middle to DAL 44 for 9 yards (K.Young).
(15:00 - 4th) E.Elliott up the middle to 50 for 6 yards (K.Young; M.Fox).
(14:37 - 4th) (No Huddle) E.Elliott up the middle to LA 43 for 6 yards (M.Fox)
(14:15 - 4th) (No Huddle, Shotgun) D.Prescott pass short right to A.Cooper to LA 32 for 11 yards (J.Fuller; L.Floyd).

Zeke subs

(13:43 - 4th) D.Prescott pass short left to A.Cooper to LA 18 for 14 yards (J.Ramsey)
(13:06 - 4th) T.Pollard right tackle to LA 14 for 4 yards (M.Copeland)
(12:30 - 4th) (Shotgun) D.Prescott pass incomplete short middle to D.Schultz

It's 3rd down, better put Zeke back in

(12:30 - 4th) (Shotgun) E.Elliott up the middle to LA 11 for 3 yards (O.Okoronkwo)

You have to think that when Zeke and the 3rd down play was called that McCarthy had already made up his mind that he would go for it on 4th down. Thus the run call.
My comment and view is that Zeke was absolutely giving it to the Rams. Stay in there, impose your will and finish off the drive. Demoralize them.

Zeke was dominating the game late. Several strong runs then subs himself out. Why? Finish the damn drive and rest after. Had all the momentum at that point.
I remember what you are referring to but it wasn't clear to me if he took himself out. I will say this. He was involved in one heck of a collision on the play so I think he may have been trying to clear his head.

zeke had a very good game. i hope we continue to see him more and more as a receiver. that will just increase his value to the team. he's the reason we were in it to the end. anyone not seeing that is just being obtuse. oddly, however, i didn't see the feed me gesture one time. has he move on?

No, he did the dumb gesture after his first or second run of the game. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, consider yourself lucky you didn’t see that embarrassing display.

The dude faced an 8 man box only once last night. According to next gen stats his yards over expected was -1. He just doesn’t create on his own.

But we got insight into his thinking last night. He doesn’t look for the home run early in the game. He looks to punish the defense and wear them out. Unfortunately, he was the one huffing and puffing on the sidelines and not the Rams defense.

The hate for Zeke is mind blowing. He is one of the few players on this team that performs consistently. Literally the only player on offense to do about anything last night.

What a dumb philosophy. Forget the yards, first downs and points...run into them for a few yards instead.

It was probably a convenient excuse. He finally saw how bad his elusiveness rating is, along with forced missed tackles and broken tackles so he claims he wants to run into them instead of making them miss but he’s not as good at it as he was in 2016. But hey, that’s what Jerry pays 50 mil guaranteed, a RB who runs like a cheap fullback.

The Rams got the same production with a 2015 undrafted free agent.

He lacks conditioning, cardiovascular , and endurance
yet he leads the league in total snaps for all skilled players in the NFL.. kind of odd hes always on the field he subs out because coaches dont pull him out, very rare hes not playing..yet hes out of chaoe , game 1 of a no offeseaosn and hes one of the few productive spots and all the hate..lmao

the biggest oddity is you want more pollard and yet the very few times zekes pulls himself , pollard gets to play but not enough, how do you get more snaps for pollard if zeke isnt coming out?

Not when the game matters and he only performs when he has a lot of room to run, which every RB in the league does.

He is on the field almost the entire game, then you whine about ONE play.
Just troll Zeke hate thread.

i wouldn't say lucky. frankly, i like the feed me gesture. but i just didn't see it if he did it. he ran well and hard. and it was electrifying to see him as a receiver. the best is yet to come, no doubt.
