Need to throw that 4-2 D in the trash and go back to a 4-3.

Luke Gifford needs to get his head out of his arse, put on his big boy pants and finally get out there and go hit someone. He's got the ideal size (6'3", 245 lbs) to play Middle LB, thus allowing Jaylon Smith (6'2", 230 lbs, 4.44 40 yd dash) to use his speed to play on the outside and allow another LB like either old veteran Joe Thomas (6'1", 235 lbs) or rookie undrafted LB Francis Bernard (6'1", 230 lbs) to play the other outside. If Luke Gifford is going to continue to stay injury-prone, get rid of him and go look for someone else ASAP.

Get rid of rebellious fat slug Dontari Poe and instead bring in Snacks Harrison. Start Snacks next to Trysten Hill with Antwaun Woods and rookie Neville Gallimore alternating. Tyrone Crawford could be used for emergency purposes.

How many times did the Rams run a 3 WR set?

Honestly, don't recall how many times they lined with that setup but I'll be surprised, well maybe not really, if this team went light in the middle and stuck with the nickel while the Rams went with a 2TE package.

This is the result of drafting injury prone LBers and NOT drafting a big fat defensive tackle early or that is dominant since the 90's.

The worse call was the allowance of the TO in the Redzone in the first half. That was clearly a delay of game and that call made all the difference in the world. If that call stands, it's like 3rd and 6 but because it was reversed, it resulted in a TD.

But we got some calls as well so IDK.

I don't think so. We have real issues at LB. From what I can tell, personnel don't match up with scheme there and now that LVE is out, I don't see that getting better.

LVE is talented. It’s his injury that has always been a question, even in the draft. He’s done. Playing with a fused vertebrae as a LB is not going to happen. Manning as a protected QB, not leading with the head to tackle, his arm strength dramatically declined after one year. LVE is putting himself more at risk than Manning.

Yep. I think that was the first drive of the game. Clock was out for like 2 seconds and they still gave him the TO. The refs blew several. Heck I heard donald himself was actually holding most of the game and never got called. He hit Dak in the face. We got away with Aldon hitting goff once. Lol. No excuses but I would think the refs would be ready to roll. No distractions with crowd or noice.

It's beyond terrible at times and I can't stand it when people act like fans shouldn't question the all knowing dumb *** coaches who do stupid stuff like not take the 3 points on 4th and 3.

Sean McVay was the biggest difference in our game and i'm sick and tired of it being our players vs the other teams players + their coaching staff actually helping them with scheme.

You mean in the 4th quarter when your only down by 3. And your Defense is playing a little better.

Well.. Garrett sucked but his old outdated schemes sucked even more than he did and it looks like they are still alive and well on the football field.

I was hoping we would see something more like what the Rams/ 49ers do but looks like we will have no flair at all again and it's going to just be our guys needing to beat their guys again.

I'm rewatching the game right now. I'm telling you, he didn't play all that poorly, considering. But sure, agree to disagree or, go back and pick out plays and lets discuss them.

Tell ya what's interesting, all the quick stuff where Dak just short sets and gets rid of the ball are working. Those plays had success.

normally the D gets worse as the game goes on and can never get stops at the end of games when needed.

1st game with a new system - on the road - I would think we will see improvements as the season goes
