long time ago... let it go all teams make bad draft picks many in the first round there are far more misses then hits..
I see that you're now backing off your statement that the coaches know more.

no but deal with my responses or ignore those, this place needs balance because it feels liek a dang Eagles fan site and the hate this team gets nearly zero support ..i get the frustration post games but this goes to another level with the negativity..

voice of reason and common sense are very needed..
So you have deemed yourself the voice of reason? That’s opinion too.

and if you play small against the giants they are going to play big with two tight ends and run you over. Then they will have short manageable third downs which will result in long drives. Some of those drives may result in points...not sure with that team though.

They have wr and a tight end that on paper should make plays. Golden Tate may be suspended this week so that will help if he is.

I imagine Garrett plays big and makes Dallas go big and defend and then has jones run a bunch and throws it to the backs.

The giants defense on the other hand while bad in the secondary looks big and fast on defense. They give twice the effort of our guys and I haven't seen them jogging around when they are losing on defense either.

I cant imagine what it will be like for these guys if they lose to this Giants team.

If we lose to the Giants we know you will cream yourself with your Garrett love

Agree, we need to do something
Gifford was OLB from Nebraska
HILL up field many times , but he missed many tackles
Gallimore was NT , I liked Elliot more from Missouri, but give him some drives
I put Jaylon Olb and blitz with him, he is fast strong and dnt have goods reads

Hill is the worst ranked DT in the NFL according to PFF

Do you know how PFF does their rankings? Its the equivalent of giving a random poster here several hours after the game to put a grade on each play.

Its literally that process, which is a fools errand on defensive players if you don't know the scheme and assignments.

Sounds like the most reasonable plan I have heard so far. I would put Griffen as a healthy scratch. I have never seen less effort from a player in my life.
No lie griffen has been a trash can. I thought he was actually good but geezus. I rather see the rook. Lets see what he can do. Young guys might be hungry. Its better than a vet who has already ate that's just chilling at the table.

We are going very basic 4-2-5 this week. Very basic. If I blitz it is coming from the CB or S position. Gallimore and Hill start in the inside. I know Gallimore is not a 1 but it doesn’t matter because Poe and Woods are not doing the job. Gregory and Smith are starting on the outside. Anae gets next up snaps. Lawrence gets 33% of the snaps unless he shows a pulse. I am scouring the LBs in the league. Thomas and Gifford are my starters. Smith is a healthy scratch. I don’t care if I have to put Wilson at LB Smith is not suiting up. Diggs, Brown, Carr, Wilson, and Lewis are my starting secondary. Woods is deep, deep, deep on the bench. Griffen will work at the 3 on some passing downs. Worley and Crawford get a few snaps as well. I run base 85pct of the plays. I force Jones to stay in the pocket and be accurate. I pray Smith and Gregory can get home.

Simple, simple, simple.

54 is a permanent healthy scratch if the LBs show a pulse and I am looking every week for guys that can help.

Thoughts?

How about the offense playing both ways?

Better plan than what we are doing. I would start working guys out at every defensive position. Anyone showing little effort gets benched, then cut if they do not immediately improve. Maybe we can trade griffen back to the vikings for a 7th round pick or another player? We need to aquire some guys who can tackle at DT, LB and safety asap, FA, trade, however we can get them.

Guys that can and want to tackle in Dallas is a novelty.
