Let’s avoid the classless stuff

I know there are a lot of fans here who aren’t fans of Dak. I also believe most Cowboys fans, regardless of opinions on the QB situation, are good people who respect our players even if they don’t like their play. Whatever they think of Dak, most would agree that Dak Prescott is a good dude, and in light of his gruesome injury, would show the class we would all expect Cowboys fans to exhibit.

So I have a request: For the few trolls who post completely ridiculous and disrespectful posts about Dak for no other reason to get a rise out of us- can we just avoid posting there altogether so those outrageous threads just die a natural death.

I was saddened to see a 27 year old young man who has suffered some very difficult family losses in his young life, have a serious injury added to his personal challenges. Whatever you think of him as a QB, I would hope we could all at least show a little empathy. I am a Dak fan, but I would feel bad for any of our players who suffered such a devastating injury.

Let’s stay classy. This world is already a pretty negative place these days that could use some empathy and kindness.
Well said and I appreciate you for saying it. Thank you

Are you a tik tok user? Otherwise just posting a smilie whats the point? This is that stuff I expect from people my younger sisters age not adults smh

There were several posts immediately after the injury that were clearly gloating he got hurt and I promptly put them on ignore like I said I would. Hopefully the mods took care of them because they had no place here.

Feel free to take your Tiktok issues to someone else.:muttley::lmao::flagwave::thumbup:

oh and maybe you need glasses because the emoji is clearly expressing confusion and not smiling. Notice how he is scratching his head with flat lips and eyes that are wide open in amazement?

Feel bad for Dak but pointing out that he should have signed the 5 year deal is relevant. He cost himself 100 million dollars with that stupidity.
That request lasted about what, 2 posts. I think the last thing Dak cares about right now is his contract. On the other hand you seem to think money is the end-all to a football life. Again, idiocy abounds.

Dak will come back from this or he will retire but either way have some Class like the OP said.

Completely agree.

Good luck, you’re also asking some of the same people who mock Wentz, and other Phillly players, when they get injured because of something that happened 30 years ago and these modern day players had nothing to do with to to have class.

Some of our fans are disgusting. BTW, Wentz was the first tweet I saw wishing Dak the best.

Careful, if that were Zeke...?

I have no tik tko issues. People act online in a way that's very weak and wouldn't fly offline. None of y'all ever show proof of this gloating just all emotions based on your feelings of the poster who posted it.

If you can't understand simple English maybe you're the one that needs glasses. Like I said I'm not a teenager I don't pay that much attention to that stuff. We're adults words work

Good stuff, Bullet, but one of the reasons I come here is for the cyber fisticuffs and a couple of "oh my, did that poster really mean that the way I read it"?

So, could someone kindly point me to some of the classless stuff?

Seriously, no one should pull for an injury (unless it's mike vick and then it's motionless on the stretcher as they carry him out and the next round is on me) to any player but we should also keep it in perspective. This is not a career ender, at least not from what I've gathered, so it's not any worse than if he blew out a knee or injured his throwing shoulder.

One thing about this Dak Prescott character, he's one resilient, never lay down, guy. He will come back from this and he will be fine. He's not had to go through something like this before so it will be enlightening to him.

Another thing about this. I hate the tag, it's chickenball. If a team can't sign their player then some other team should be able to do that. The NFLPA needs to get their head out of their butt and stop playing patsy to the owners. The cap evens it all out, manage the cap or suffer the consequences.

IMO the only mistake Dak made was hiring that agent. Had a deal and let the agent pull out of it because he had 3 good games to start last season. Then in the final hours Dak talks with SJ and JJ and works out his own contract. He should have been under contract. This last year he didn’t gamble on himself, his agent took the gamble for him. I am sure he agreed because he was trusting him and never had a real bad injury.

There are players I can't stand that I still wouldn't be happy they got a season ending injury. I want to play the best competition there is. The idea that some "fans" appeared glowingly gitty that Prescott went down is disturbing.

Lol. Coach I have never seen or heard my wife hate a person but vick. If he is in tv she will get up and leave the room.

I think Dak gets signed by us this year. And I wonder if they have a date they can start negotiations. I know it was supposed to be after the NFL season but now that his season is unfortunately over I wonder if they can begin talks.

I'm trying to figure out a scenario where you dislike someone so much that you are happy they are hurt....like I just can't. I can't stand Aaron Rodgers or Tom Brady but my hate for them doesn't run that deep. I just can't see it.

I would never root for a season ending injury. However, if any were to occur among the teams on my schedule, I'd prefer to play those teams after their respective injuries occurred.

I'm a firm believer in "lf you find yourself in a fair fight, your tactics suck"

Also, he didn’t die. Dak will be fine physically & financially. There’s nothing wrong with discussing the business side of things. If he was on life support I could see the point of these posts.
