I mean we are in last place now lol...the only thing is we have the easiest schedule of all the teams left....I think Eagles or us will be fighting for last place.

Philly as a city just does not fit Wentz’ personality. At all. That kid needs to play in a city that is way more laid back and chill.

The FO screwed this up the minute they drafted Hurts in the second round after signing Carson to his mega deal. Planted the seeds of doubt, and now his confidence is shattered after the year he’s had.

Will be interesting to see what they do with him in the offseason and how the team performs down the stretch. If Hurts leads them to some wins and the team responds to his leadership... I can’t see how they go back to Carson.

I told all the Eagle fans when it happened, that his specific injury was a career killer for him because he is a mobile QB. Dak's injury is bad, but what Wentz did is something he will never fully come back from.

Then I had all these daydreamers come in and tell me that "such and such" pocket passer recovered just fine. Yeah, but Wentz' game is built from mobility first.

Expect a long road back at minimum.

To me this is the eagles just wanting to see what hurts can do, and the only way you do that is let him play some games.
Dallas should have played gilbert 2 more games, to see how he did, then you know more
about him.
Also they dont want to get wentz hurt, as that would hurt his trade value, and maybe he just
needs to rest up lol.
If Hurts does good, then maybe they let him compete with wentz for # 1 in 21.
If he is meh, then it is back to wentz in 21, but now you know what you have in hurts.

I doubt they expect him to beat NO, just play well.

That would be remarkable, but considering what they got for Bradford who knows. I don't think Wentz is nearly as bad of a QB as the season he's having. His problem is he forces balls into windows and without better protection he's forcing the throw even earlier.
