So the gap between Dak and a 3x pro bowler is not massive...

But there is a GAP.

So that tells me that Dak is pretty damn good.

Thanks Collin!

Anyone who think dalton is better than Dak have to realize no team offered dalton a starting job
If Dak is let go he will be offered a starting job very quickly
Yet to be seen and all speculation. Also because another team is willing to pull the trigger on a huge Dak contract doesn’t mean he is worth it. He still would have to perform.

Atlanta choked multiple fourth quarter leads this year, including allowing, I believe it was Foles, to put up 21 in the fourth quarter. The Seahawks, when we played them, had one of the worst pass defenses in the league. In fact, they are still 32nd in yards and attempts defensively. They only started righting the ship in game 10.

How many playoffs games did Dalton win in his career and how many years has he been in the NFL?
During Dalton's last full season in Cincy, how many games did he win?
This will be how many losing season in a row for Dalton?

You Arlington Jonesboys fans are sadistically comical.

Dalton has been great in Dallas, however I don't know how much leverage we really have because if we don't pay Dak, somebody else most definitely will. I'm glad we signed Dalton on the off-season however, he has been amazing for us.
Dalton has been average in dallas....I am glad we signed him. at this point in his career is a solid back up....

Dak has played all his games with Zach Martin playing from start to finish, so saying it’s the same starting linemen on this fact alone is completely wrong. Zach hasn’t played even close to a full game with Dalton in the line-up, when he has played. Zach Martin is, bar none, the best player on this team.

Further, Dak still has 10 plus more play action attempts than Dalton does, despite playing only five less games, so saying this is the same offense is completely wrong. In fact, Dak in terms of attempts in play action and yardage, has guys playing 9 games and 12 games respectively or vice versa, can’t remember off the top of my head, above him. The play action that Moore is employing for Andy is a lot less, and this in large part has to do with way worse blocking and Andy getting the ball out early.

Andy Dalton has a MUCH BETTER TD to INT ratio in the red-zone in less completions and better completion percentage, with worse blocking, than Dak. Andy has 10 TDs to 2 INTs, while Dak has 3 TDs and 1 INT.

Dak is also way more efficient in the fourth quarter when the game is in the fourth quarter within seven.
seriously dude, now your claim is the RG is the key to offensive success...hey, NFL teams, spend every resource trade up into top 5 and get a RG and hey you are guarnateed a superbowl win..

too funny, even for you

Who’s going to pay Tag Russell Wilson money?

Exactly. Jerry Jones is bidding against himself. No team is offering Dak $30M.

Let Dak hit the free market and come back to the Cowboys with his best offer. Cowboys can match or let him go and get a 3rd round comp pick.

Dalton isn’t a flashy cool player..

He’s just solid tier 4 or 5 QB that can get the same results as a tier 3 guy.
so what's the difference between a tier 4, 5 vs. 3, if they can get the same results. wouldn't the 3 then be a 4,5 or a 4,5 be a 3

Dak is a tier 1 if that was your intention with the cryptic post ;)

he will be gobbled up in a NY minute if he hits the street...and perhaps that would be a good thing for him, to give him a chance to win a superbowl or two because with Jerry the GM, will we ever win a superbowl....

There is no difference really other than the teams they play on..

Like Colin said.. There are trucks and there are trailers..

Dak and Dalton are trailers.. They go as the team goes.

You pay trucks.. You don’t pay trailers like they are trucks.

These stats can’t be correct either, because Dak has 4 INTs this year and has played five games. They actually gave Dak less INTs.

And as an aside, 3 of the 4 INTs, were when Dallas was behind 1 to 8 points, meaning the game was tight. Dalton on the other hand has 5 TDs and 1 INT in this situation.

Dak’s TOs were contributing to opposition building up significant leads. He also had 3 fumbles in 5 games. Dalton has 2 fumbles in 10 games.

Dak. only threw 4 passes when above 9 points, meaning Dak’s numbers were never when ahead. Dalton on the other hand is 19 of 28 when up by 9-16 points, meaning when Dallas is winning big and the games are essentially over, his stats drop. I mean Dalton and Moore could pad stats if they wanted, but there is no need taking risks. It’s all about burning time off the clock and preventing TOs.
Dak had 4 Ints...2 of which came on the last plays of the game with seconds to go in deparation times, being intercepted in the hail mary to the endzone...

so his two Ints contributed to us falling behind in 5 games...not the defense giving up 300 yards rushing or giving up 36 points and CBs being burnt left and right?

so now Colin Cowherd is a reliable analyst we should all listen to? right? can I quote you on that for the future....

Dalton is the extra wheel in the back of the trailer hanging by a rusty screw....

Man sell Dak crazy all you want no one but your Dak buds are listening!!!
You're listening...or else you wouldn't have responded.

Like I've always said - Dak is nothing more than a decent backup. In fact, Dalton should start ahead of him if we kept both and @frozen #DON'TPAYDAK or this team will be set back for years. We don't need another Zeke contract on Stats Prescott. Check out his fumble stats when you get time too.
so in your opinion Dak is the 33rd best QB in the league?
