That’s pretty damn impressive.....
Considering Dalton was in CIN his whole career!
So Dak playing under garrett is good. Dalton playing for Marvin Lewis is a handicap.. Dak having Jerry the GM is good. but whomever was the GM of the bengals is bad!!!

really dude...you should think before you respond

Dalton had quite a few resources to work with. he had Jason Garrett type coach.....actually a better defensive minded coach and better defenses around him....so yeah...in cincinati...he contributed to their mediocrity....heavily

The stats are identical.
Tag isn’t worth what he’s asking for. Which is why he was tagged.

Passer Rating ---------- Dak 99.6 ---------Dalton 90.7
QBR ---------------------- Dak 78.4 ---------Dalton 56.4
YPG -----------------------Dak 371.2 -------Dalton 192.6
Compl. % ----------------Dak 68.0 ---------Dalton 65.4

Now, explain how those are identical stats …

so now Colin Cowherd is a reliable analyst we should all listen to? right? can I quote you on that for the future....

Dalton is the extra wheel in the back of the trailer hanging by a rusty screw....

You listen to whoever you want.. I think Mickey Spagnola is probably right up your alley.

I am not pushing for or against either quarterback, but I do want to point out that video cover image compares their first four seasons.

However, that's not the Andy Dalton of today.

I would like to see a comparison of Dalton's stats the last 4 years compared to Dak's last 4 years as that would be a way more relevant comparison for their worth.

We will never get a true apples to apples comparison but the first 4 years is as close as we can get. And the first 4 years should be skewed in Dak’s favor since I guess Dak’s first 4 years’ Cowboys teams were much better than Dalton’s.

We would like to compare the Andy Dalton of today with the Dak of today. But even the Dak of today is a mystery due to the leg injury.

Not really when you consider the investment in the OLine, running game and WR's. Giver Aaron Rodgers that and he's winning at least another title or two.
oh, I agree Aaron rodgers would do wonders in Dallas, but then again he would have been playing for Garrett and Jerry, so not so sure there on final results...perhaps he would stop listening to both of them and do his thing.

with that said Rodgers and Mahomes are elite QB, so if you please let me know which aisle in Target has the Elite QB section, I would appreciate it, so perhaps I stop by and pick up a couple or three

As always, losses are all on Dak. I'm betting you weren't giving him all the credit in the wins over the years.

It's also a bit nonsensical that you don't accept the fact that the defense was giving up 36 points per game when Dak got hurt had anything at all to do with the losses.

All a QB can do is work within the offense to put up points. Dak did that. What the defense did is out of his control.

If he is part of the team then yes losses are on him

What's laughable is that Dak wants a close to Mahomes type paycheck!
where did you get that?

I guess we are in a new week, so the Dak numbers creep up, actually not sure if it was you or one of your pal's they said, Dak wanted the highest contract ever in the NFL... so we started last month or so at 33-35, then it crept up to 35-38 and then 40 and now the highest contract in NFL ever....interesting phenomenon....

he will be gobbled up in a NY minute if he hits the street...and perhaps that would be a good thing for him, to give him a chance to win a superbowl or two because with Jerry the GM, will we ever win a superbowl....

At what price is the key? Yes, at $20-25M Dak would be gobbled up. At $35-40M, Dak sits on the shelf waiting for the realistic 30-40% blue light special price drop.

Dalton has been great in Dallas, however I don't know how much leverage we really have because if we don't pay Dak, somebody else most definitely will. I'm glad we signed Dalton on the off-season however, he has been amazing for us.
Nobody's signing Dak and coughing up two No. 1 picks.

Apologies but Dak is NOT better.
The fact that Dalton's accuracy and downfield vision is better and is able to lead WR (as seen in last week's game) makes a world of difference.
ha? what?

YPA is much lower for Dalton, he is called Triple D for a reason (dink &dunk dalton). Dak's air yards are much higher per completion. number of down field throws are much much higher. dak is one of the most down field throwers based on NFL stats...

so if you can show me anywhere any stats that proves what you said, I would appreciate it, otherwise its just another one of your bullshiet lies

On the other hand, we don't know what Dak will come back either. That door swings both ways but really, I don't believe any of that matters in this case. I mean, Dak isn't going to get significantly better, in terms of stats and if the results show that the stats don't bring you wins, then it isn't the key factor here, as I see it. To me, the key factor is and always has been contract structure and what can be negotiated. If the team can't get a contract in place that allows the team to get significantly better on the Defensive side of the ball and allow for solid cap management going forward, then signing him is not a good idea in terms of winning a championship. Doesn't matter how good or bad he plays, it's a team thing.

That's just my opinion.

keep saying that, out loud, at least 10 times a day and then you may actually start to believe it...its called power of persuasion ........you can actually trick your brain to believe in anything

Yeah, and on NFL Network they are all in agreement, not that that means anything, but they were saying that they think the Cowboys will let Dak go and sign Dalton to a 4-6 year contract to help build the team. Would not hurt my feeling at all.

We are losing games because the defense sucks, not because the offense isn’t putting up enough points. Is Dak better than Dalton and two solid defensive players? In my book, no.

I mean I would have paid Dak instead of Zeke, but then why draft Zeke at all. But I digress. Point is Cowboys are putting up decent offensive numbers with 0 starting OL. Moore leaving could be bad, but assuming the offense continues to work why aren’t we spending this money on defense?
so two solid defensive plays are going to account for massive drop off in QB play? which two defensive players are you talking about....or do I just go to Target Aisle 18, Defensive players section?

If Dak got the deal he requested, I'm pretty sure he would make more money than Mahomes over the length of Dak's contract. Mahomes gets the big bucks many years into that deal after Dak's contract would have expired.
