Duh! The more money you can save for other parts of the team is what that 3 mil could be used for. Does Dak REALLY need 3 more mil! Come on, don't play stupid.
So Jerry can give a second contract to Trystan Hill.
Huzzah!

There are several QBs that have won with two different teams. Peyton Manning won with the Colts and Denver.
There are exactly two. And the second won it this very year.
Let's not be disingenuous.

And look up the word "several" before retort.

you guys clearly have no clue what the definition of a fact vs an opinion is.

unless you have a time machine or a crystal ball you are giving an opinion that we will not win while jerry is alive....you can keep saying it all you want but it’s not a fact
If he doesn't hire a real head coach its a 26yr proven fact!

nope it’s a opinion with historical trends... not a fact

unless you can go into the future and see the outcome all you are doing is stating an opinion of what you think will happen based on what you know has happened.

For the record I agree with your opinion that we won’t win without a real head coach and Jerry going byebye

He can lock down that 3T that Crawford did for so many years.
Gotta lock that stuff up, yo.
These people begging for cap room need to look at how this FO uses it.

In the most asinine way.

Over and over.

And these fans just don't and won't get it.

Not trying to cut in, but the money in the contract is so inconsequential, the only money that is important is the guaranteed portion, thats all the agent and player care about anymore.
3 mill is garbage.
Of course but right now we have no idea what the guarantees are or will be.

Salary cap doesn’t matter, you said it yourself. You told me that salary cap hell is just a figment of the imagination and doesn’t really exist.

Singing a different tune now, are you? Not surprised, you couldn’t even remember things we talked about the day before.
If I didn’t remember what we talked about it probably wasn’t worth remembering. And the point is still the same. The salary cap doesn’t matter when it’s going up every year among other things.

Wouldnt surprise me if it was 40 and 5yrs.
There will be a compromise, and if Dak wont take the term for that salary than just time to cut ties.
There is a reason why that 5th year is very important.

MM came here BECAUSE OF Dak. He watched him from afar and wanted to be here. No Dak means we are in a rebuild and not sure MM wants to remain if that is the case.

Great, sign Dak to 50 if thats what it wants. I guess you don’t think players salaries go up with the cap as well?

I think it’s important to them so they can use Dak’s contract to restructure for when they screw up their salary cap by paying guys like Jaylon and Zeke.

Of course it does which is why I want to sign Dak now rather than later. Had they done it earlier it wouldn’t take 50 million......would’ve took much less.

It was honestly just a bad hire.
was onboard at first, but the more I saw, the more I realized you are right. He looks almost disconnected from the team and reality. He was stubborn to the point of nausea last year. Same stupid pressers after a loss week after week...UNWILLING to admit what we all saw with our own eyes. WE SUCK ON D.

So you would be ok with signing Dak to 50 mil per for 4 years?
