Seeing football doesn't mean you understand it. If you need any evidence of that you can just look at your posts in this thread. You still didn't answer any of my questions that again, are covered in high school. Do you think it's possible that you just don’t know nearly as much as you think? Do you think the people paid millions of dollars to design and disguise coverages aren't just checking peoples 40 times to full out the depth chart and then watching?

It's insanely complex. Like playing chess is really simple because it's just pieces moving on a board. NFL defense is basically grandmaster level chess. Your post doesn't really suggest a great deal of intelligence but I do want to thank you. I'm guilty of assuming no one can be as ignorant as so many of the posts here suggest but you have done a great job of disproving that assumption. I wonder why they pay those guys on the sidelines so much though? All they need is a stop watch. Heck you, well not you but maybe someone closer to average could do that.

Our football coach died, this was my junior year in HS, enter the wrestling coach, he knew nothing about football. Took him a good month to figure it out.

Always get a kick out of people who think the game is all that, it just isn;t. It comes down to the athletes, not scheme, not stragedy, noting more than who has the superior athletes.

There is a reason we see the teams that get the top recruits win in the NCAA, a reason those teams with a stud QB win in the NFL.

They are not playing I formation run it up the gut 1960s high school football out there. The game has evolved entirely due to scheme and strategy. I understand it must be difficult to acknowledge that you're just watching the pretty costumes but at least take your pants off your head before posting.
