So the Eagles are going to win out and we are going to lose 4 or 5 more games?

Dont see it happenning and if, for the sake of argument it did, well big Mike and wonder boy can go join Garrett in the unemployment line. Cant stay after that type of a collapse.

Wonder Boy already got exposed, so if he doesn't make adjustments we will go down in flames.

Not a fan of sticking. Just let it be I guess. Let the **** play out. What’s it to you?
I don't know if you remember or if you were a Cowboy fan when Jimmy Johnson predicted that the Eagles season was done, they weren't going anywhere. That was 2006. The Eagles were 5-6 at the time and their QB, McNabb was hurt. Their QB was perennial backup Jeff Garcia.

Jimmy specifically said, "Stick a fork in them, they are done". The Eagles promptly went on a 5 game winning streak and won the division after defeating the Cowboys in game #15.

My point is that the Cowboys and fans cannot assume they will win the division. There is still plenty of time for the Eagles to catch up and they aren't playing any difficult teams for the rest of the season. They have nothing but division rivals and the Jets. they are on a two game winning streak and still have a bye.

The last four weeks in the NFL:

the Eagles have the 2nd most points scored. They are averaging 35 points a game. They are 4th in total yardage. They lead the league in rushing yardage and are ranked 6th in yards per carry. They are tied for most rushing TD's.

This is why I hate losing games we should win. I do think we can run the East games..

Historically, the Eagles play their best when everyone leaves them for dead. "Put a fork in them" is their rallying call.

The Eagles have a two game winning streak going into the next two games against the morbid Giants and Jets. Then comes their bye week.

After their bye week comes the last four games of their regular season, all against division rivals.

They end the season against the Dallas Cowboys in Philadelphia....a week after the Cowboys have played the Cardinals.

A loss by the Cowboys to the Raiders or Saints, one loss to the Washington Unnamed, a loss to the Cardinals combined with an Eagles run on the Giants twice, Washington twice and the Jets........does any of this seem unrealistic?

The Eagles has been a team that almost always surges late in the season. It is entirely possible that a 10-6 Eagles team hosts a 10-6 Cowboys team in a game #17 to determine the division champion.

We all know the typical outcome of such a game.

The Cowboys must avoid this scenario at all costs by creating their own end of season surge.
I don't worry about the Eagles. I worry about the Cowboys.

They’ll do nothing.

I am the one that hates the Eagles the most but I must say this, if you and any others think that the Eagles aren’t a good team, you will soon found out. If the Cowboys aren’t playing, that’s the game I’m watching then. And I must tell you that the have gotten better and better as the season progressed. They have talent and now their QB is playing a lot better, actually a lot lot better. Over the last four games their run game is tops and their defense has been top three. They’re good!

Cowboys need to take care of their own business. If they do that then will be just fine. As for the Eagles they can't afford any slip ups and while the schedule looks easy it should be noted a lot of top teams have lost vs so called easy teams.

The damage is done.

They can go try and get a wildcard.
Yes you are absolutely correct I don’t think they’ll catch us at all, but I’m just stating that I believe they are much much better then what we seen earlier in the season, to the point that yes they my make the Wild Card.

I'll give you that but we base all of it on a history that hasn't happened with this roster. We've had so much turn over but keep painting these guys into the same corner we did with Romo, Witten, Dez ect. This is a different team and let's hope against hope they don't follow the same narrative just because they wear the star.

Surely we aren't that cursed right? Personally I still think we have dawgs on this team and they won't allow that to happen. I think they beat the Raiders then get some key players back and win 5 straight before squaring off with the Cardinals. I'm not buying all the recipe BS.
You go girl!

This is what I've been saying, this season emphasizes why the term "Any Given Sunday" is said. Just because a game looks "easy" on paper for a NFL team, doesn't meant that the NFL team will win it. If the Cowboys, Rams, Packers, Bills, Titans, Chiefs, Ravens, can all have games were they lose or struggle to an "inferior" opponent, then so can the Eagles. Some seem to believe that the Eagles will be immune from having a bad game for the remainder of the season. When so far none of the top teams in the NFL have been immune from having a bad game or having an opponent with an inferior record show up with their A game on one or both sides of the ball.

the denver game is the only surprise when the schedule came out thats fans picked wins and losses..

losing to TB and KC you know the SB teams from 2020 isnt a surprise..Both on the road btw..

so one loss so far that should have been a W but it was the cheese trap game and wash the fact we stole one in MN with Rush

so as i see it and the sting slowly dissipates, 7-3 most likely was what where we were expecting to sit..

not huge deal yet but cant afford to lay an egg in any other games..

Given the fact that Hurts passing is not good and they do everything to avoid throwing the ball, I think Eagles will trip up. Hurts himself looks to run more than he is throwing it. Having said that, Cowboys can't concern themselves with anyone other than themselves. After the poor showing in KC, Cowboys need to take care of business vs Raiders and then hopefully a lot reinforcements coming back vs Saints.

The Eagles can’t over take the Cowboys unless we help them. Win the games we should and we’ll win the division easily. And it has to start with a win tomorrow.

I agree with you, but here's the thing. I realize anything can happen, but in both 2006 and 2008 I had zero expectations for the Cowboys as I didn't think they were that good.

It's like in 2011 when Denver was playing KC in the final game of the season for the division. Denver won the division at 8-8, who cares? Are we busting out the confetti?

In 2014 the Eagles played the Cowboys in week 15, I think. Both teams were pretty good coming in with 9-4 records. Winning the division that year was pretty important going forward. And that's my point.

This Cowboys team is not like the 2006 or 2008 team. They don't appear to be to me. But if this team loses 4 out of the next 7 games, what am I to make of them? How upset should I be if they don't win the division? Because it wouldn't matter at that point.
