Yeah and then Troy commented about how we have "tales," like when Dak goes across his chest it means this ect.

It is odd they didn't bite given how we don't ever do that particular play. Although when your run is of know threat it's probably a lot easier for the opposition to remain disciplined.

Yeah. The only thing is Pollard literally had the ball lol. It was a hand off and the linebackers just fell back like they knew he was going to pitch it back to Dak.

It’s one thing for DBs to not bite but for linebackers not to tackle the guy with the ball? Odd…

When you click post reply did you think this was clever?

Mahomes is a Super Bowl champion that has been a 1 man army since he stepped on the football field.

You guys like to find a moment or 2 of imperfection with players like Mahomes and paint with this broad brush a narrative that is the opposite of their entire career.
It's the truth!!! Mahomes sucked during the Super Bowl when his Oline sucked at pass protection. Mahomes got exposed, yet you Dak haters don't like it. Yet, you come here bashing Dak for the same thing Mahomes got exposed for. Bunch of hypocrite losers. Go find another team to follow because Dak's 4 year contract is fully guaranteed, and he's not going anywhere for another 3 seasons.

He got to the Super Bowl!

You’re creating a narrative off of a small sample size.

Mahomes whole schtick has been running around, buying time, and being an absolute 40+ TD a year hero since he stepped on the field.

The “SUPERBOWL” is not his normal.

Mahomes has not been the same player since that game. I admit that. He’s still awesome. He’s just not playing the same level of ball because everyone is using 2 safeties and doubling Kelce forcing him to methodically go down the field because they don’t think he has the patience.

They’re learning to play a new way in KC and look out they’re 7-4 and could possibly get the 1 seed.

Mahomes is in a entire different stratosphere than our QB and some of you need to get over it.

This is a great analysis after the game. Hindsight is 20-20. But it confirms what some of us have thought and that is that the offense has suffered because Dak is not seeing the field as well as he did earlier in the season. He left a lot of meat on the bone in the Saints game. Gallup was open a number of times and CeeDee was open for one big play. The QB position is such a mental challenge, but KW is right. Dak needs to be more disciplined with his reads and he needs to be a tad more patient. The good Dak is sometimes taking sacks for holding the ball too long. This Dak is rushing his throws and throwing with poor mechanics. It is the second half of 2019 all over again.

This is why I have been adamant about not paying Dak $40 million. He has to show he can be the good Dak for an entire season, not just the first 7 or 8 games. The good Dak would have won 11 games already. This Dak is going to struggled to win games.
How much longer are we gonna say this . . he is who we thought he was

It still amazes me that they'll bring up Mahomes IN THE SUPER BOWL to defend Dak. How could they not realize just how insane that sounds? Are they truly that blinded?

These are the same posters that claim "you don't know football" if you disagree with them.

Dak can play better but anybody looking for perfection is gonna be sorely disappointed.

I can't believe how effective Cover 2 has been against teams this season. Not just the cowboys, but in general.

The best offense in teh playoffs is going to be the one that punishes teams for keeping two safeties deep and just accepts the dink and dunk game down the field.

Cover 2 has always and will always be a great defense setting. Only way to beat it is to run on it and force the safety to help in run defense. 90 percent of the teams can't make them do this. I don't understand why Quinn gets out of it and goes man. I'd play zone. 2 deep safeties all the time nearly. When we get hit with the big plays we're always in man.

It probably has something to do with his calf. Either still sore or gun shy. Hopefully he gets back to where he was soon.
Definitely something is wrong with lower left leg. He is not planting it and has bad footwork, which is different than last year or earlier this year.

Washington has made a lot of good offenses look bad in their winning streak. Did you see their win against Tampa Bay? You just like to use injuries as an excuse.
Dak put up 30 on the same raiders team the football team just put 17 up on. Lol. And that was missing Cooper and lamb. But sure. I’m using it as an excuse

I don’t understand how anyone can watch that video and think Kurt Warner has some kind of bias against Dak Prescott… He’s been on record numerous times about how he likes Dak. That video and analysis was spot on - Dak has gotten skittish in the pocket and pressing to make ALL of his reads instead of letting the play design develop. His internal clock has sped up again line it did after the Chaz Green fiasco - that video shows multiple instances of him just not letting that extra split second of play development happen. And, he has to stop that throwing off his back foot crap.

Dak definitely rushed his throws in the Saints game. I think everyone practicing will help the offensive flow better. We need to get on the same page starting this week.

So let's excuse Mahomes for his Olune failing him, thus exposing him since the Super Bowl last year and continuing this year, but let's blast Dak for the same poor Oline play that has hurt Dak the way it has hurt Mahomes?

Like I said, you Dak hating hypocrites are the worst and who truly make this Cowboys forum so unenjoyable!

He doesn’t get extra credit for the final box score.

Most of us watched the WHOLE game and saw the offensive lull along with being awful on 3rd downs.

The defense had it tough enough with officials attacking them but our own offense hanging them out to dry was too much to overcome.

I’m 15 minutes into this. Dak sucks at reading coverage lol.

Especially corners. Dallas runs these high low concepts on the sideline and Dak misses it everytime haha.
I don't see that. 1) Every time, Dak is under pressure. Take a look at Brady's pocket, then look at Dak's. If you put Dak in that pocket, he makes all those reads. I think his line ineptitude is causing him
to rush everything. 2) On two of the plays the problem wasn't at all Dak, it was Lamb (1st one) and Schultz (2nd one) that did not run correct routes. 3) Only one time (the goal line crossing pattern) did Dak make a totally improper read.
I do disagree with Warner on one of the early throws from our own 5. It was to the right side, and those are exactly the throws that are picked for an easy six.

I love this film analysis. I could do this all day.

good stuff, unfortunately it makes Dak look like he's not very comfortable back there. He seems almost shell shocked from the line letting so much pressure.
Exactly. That line is far worse than I thought at the beginning of the season. Dak is dodging one guy from the get-go. Watch Tampa Bay's pocket. For the most part, Brady can step up and follow through on every pass. That is NOT the case here, at all. I think biggest trade/draft target next year is a center and a LG.

We went to overtime dude just stop. Carr would have had the same issues in 3rd down if he wasn’t bailed out by the sidelines time and time again.

Just because Dak moves out of the pocket doesn’t mean he is under pressure.

What clips here did you see him under pressure? The majority of them are him giving up on the play too quickly.

You know the other team gets paid to go after him and he isn’t going to have all day to throw right? It’s not always going to be absolutely perfect and that’s the way he wanted it being the 40 million dollar man.
