WRs group lacks speed, so If speed is emphasis on defense why not on offense?

It's the exact opposite of what the OP is claiming. Most #1's are not speed threats. To add to your list: Keenan Allen, Cooper Kupp, Michael Thomas.

People really need to stop taking what these talking heads say as gospel. Blazing speed is a nice to have for an NFL #1 receiver.. but aside from Tyreke Hill not a single one of the top receivers in the NFL currently would get an invite to the NFL's fastest man competition. Kupp? Nope, Cooper? Adams? Thomas? Hopkins? Jefferson? Chase? Chase ran a 4.38 at his LSU pro day which means his combine (actual) speed was probably along the lines of 4.45-4.5. He's not slow but he's not running away from NFL corners. Now can he go up and muscle the ball away from them? Absolutely.. Is he a flat out burner? Nope..

You think we're winning the first 6 games with the Bucs, Bengals, Eagles, and Rams among our first 6 games?? :lmao::lmao::lmao:

Don't fall for the fools gold, brother. This team can go 17-0 and i'll fully expect them to not win a playoff game.
You came back thought you went away

With two of those WRs gone, and one of them was the one who replaced Gallup when he got injured and is still recovering.

Can you tell me how many yards #1 WR Lamb had vs Chiefs, Broncos & Raiders?
Luckily we're not in the AFC West

I think we do need more speed but getting open is a skill.

Lots of fast guys suck at playing WR.

I do wish we had a guy that defenses were terrified could burn them.

I think they can use more speed on offense, but that's not why the Cowboys receivers are not getting open. Cole Beasley wasn't a burner but he could get open.

Right but with our current group of WRs we could use a burner. Will Fuller would make a ton of sense.

Deandre Hopkins is one of the greatest deep threats in nfl history, and he ran a 4.57, which is borderline below average in today’s nfl.

The OP is calling for a slot maestro, and no one has ever been better than Welker, who averaged(!) 112 catches over a 6 years span, and ran a 4.65.

The better football player will come out on top. And the guys available right now are not close to what Dallas has at the top of their roster… It’s as easy as that

I can’t believe I’m on a cowboys site and and I have to give an eagles fan a like. Freaking dak attack.
I would like to see a faster WR in the slot. Sort of like what we had with Cole Beasley. The nice thing is, I think we are going to be very happy with our TEs, especially Ferguson. I think having a safety blanket at tight end can also help open up WRs.

When we had Jason Witten, teams had to focus especially on him. That opened up other WRs because it was simply, when in doubt, through to 82. I think we have that in Ferguson.

I don’t think cole was fast. He probably had average speed. He was shifty and could get open, but he wasn’t outrunning anyone.

Whaaat?

I mean, there are no true burners in the corps but you definitely have some dudes who can run a 40 yard 9 route and catch it. Also, some guys who can RAC.

Desean Jackson is still out there. You want HIM?

somebody needs to sign him. Always good for a couple laughs each season due to some bonehead decision he makes.

Didn't Lamb miss the Raiders game after getting concussed at the end of the first half against the Chiefs?

i think so. Every receiver is going to have multiple games each season where they don’t do jack.

105 the fan mentioned that offense was struggling vs defense due to lack of separation by the WRs. If the organization doesn’t address this issue then it will carry on to the regular season with the team taking losses.

Need get get a small shifty WR with speed for deep threat and slot play.

every one of them is 4.5 and above...that's pretty slow.... probably why they are giving fehoko a lot of reps. he is at 4.37...
with that said, cooper was out fastest WR at 4.4 last year.

I don't like him but he always makes a big play against the Cowboys. That said, he's 35 and we don't need him
