Either they didn't really care about getting him to the practice squad or they seriously misjudged the market for a late round big guy who already has a cool nickname.

Just watch...Bohanna is going to go down with injury, and these idiots are not going to have another big guy to plug in the middle in his place. It's going to turn into the past 10+ year debacle of not having any big NT in the middle to help stop the run. Opposing teams are going to start running right down our throats once again!!!

Bohanna has stepped up to make him expendable. When we drafted Ridgeway, we didn't know if Bohanna was going to be anything more than what he was last year. Ridgeway would have been a good backup NT to develop, but clearly we weren't that concerned about the possibility that he would be claimed. Now, if we lose Bohanna as that one- to two-down run stuffer, then we'll have to turn back to Watkins, but Ridgeway isn't better than Watkins right now just like Bohanna wasn't better than him last year.

I thought Ridgeway would clear wavers but I guess a couple teams couldn't resist having a guy like that inactive on Sundays.

I have been quite tough on our front office,
but can't get worked up over this.
Our other DTs are simply better.
