Difficult question.

Parnell propelled the Cowboys to the playoffs including a rare playoff win.

Dez single- handedly destroyed this season and re-signing him to the big contract set this team back more than any other move since the 2009 draft.

We just cracked 400 "Yes" votes at 8:20pm.

My biggest fear is Jerry being Jerry and keeping him. Only to fire him mid season next year. Stop letting Garrett waste away our seasons. We wasted Tony’s career. Let’s not waste Dak and Zekes rookie contracts.

I don't think Garrett is great but let's address the real problem...Jerry. It's laughable to hear some of the names of coaches thrown around that some of you think will come here just because it's the Dallas Cowboys. I could be wrong but I don't see the likes of Harbough, Patterson (maybe), Chucky, etc coming here and putting up with Jerry's ego constantly interfering with what they are trying to do. If someone like that does come here I bet it wouldn't last long. Perhaps once Jerry departs this world then we can start hoping for a "real" coach that will be able to stay for more than a few years and build a dynasty.

I'm not saying there's not better options out there but I am saying I'm skeptical of who and how long anyone would last with Jerry. Not to mention I wouldn't expect most coaches minus Belicheat and a few others to do that much better with the personnel Jerry has given them. We've never had good balance on offense and defense talent wise. We lack depth in several positions. We're constantly having to deal with suspensions or injuries (not even talking about Zeke) due to Jerry trying to find "discounts" and make himself look smarter than everyone else by hiring players no one else will touch. It doesn't seem like the coaches have ever had much or any input into draft selections and we don't have a professional GM to help in that area. The list goes on and on and now I'm really getting fired up when I don't need to be. Jerry is the number 1 issue here and always will be until his last breath.

Probably should be fired, but in the grand scheme of things it won't mean a whole lot for the organization.

I hated Garrett, the coordinator, but liked Garrett, the head coach. I hated him when he retained the playcalling duties. I liked how he churned the roster. I liked the competition at every position, the RKG things... then I think it really started in 2015 for me. The RKG stuff was just talk when we got Greg Hardy. Then last year the competition stuff was just talk when Romo was not allowed to compete for his job. Now this season, just feels like he’s losing the team.

In hindsight, he made some really bad moves. Switching to a 4-3, some of the staff hires, sticking with Kiffin as long as he did, putting himself in charge of playcalling, clock mismanagement... just to name a few. I spent a lot of time thinking, hoping he would find his way but I think that the truth is that Romo carried Garrett for years and really made him look like a much better coach than he really is.

I also think they kept him a few of those years because they didn’t want Romo having to learn a new system in the waning years of his career. With Romo Now retired, I see no reason not to start fresh

If anything he should run for President. He’s far too competent for anything the NFL can offer.

So at least we now know we have about 30 Garrett relatives on the board.
