no Dez is not, the organization has been a bigger bust than he ever could be. Its not his fault the organization doesnt want to win.

Bust? No. But an underwhelming past couple of seasons for sure. I could easily see him bounce back with 1000+ yards 10+ TDs in 2018.

Garrett Sucks!
Gave the "like" because it made me chuckle....

...and, I wouldn't mind him staying, but not at his current rate...I have said several times that the team could benefit from replacing Dez, Beasley, Williams and Butler, but that would take a serious commitment and gut-check by the FO...I would be just fine with Dez staying as part of having Landry on the other side...but, Landry may make more than Dez in my scenario....how would that site with him?

Bust is reserved for draft picks in their first year. I thought he was a great draft pick.

The problem with Dez is that Romo knew his game better than Dak ever will. Dak doesn't have the skills that Romo had to get him the ball in situations where he can win. The problem with Dez is that he's dumb and has no self control and horrible communication skills. It's a lose, lose.

So, Dak has to start getting REALLY good at identifying where Dez can win. Or Dez has to go and we have to get an INSANELY talented receiver across the board, who can separate, be level headed and can operate in all three parts of the field. Same thing will happen next year if nothing changes. Mark it.

More like their first three years. If they don’t live up to expectations by then they’re a bust.

This thread was from September 2016.

If he continues not to produce the next couple of games the media will be wondering if his best days are gone. A lot of what we're discussing about him is going to be discussed by everyone if he doesn't start to produce on a consistent basis and soon. His star is falling and he needs a big game or the whispers that he's not the same player anymore will be coming from those who cover the game for a living.

Yea because Brady will throw the ball right into Dez's face mask if he cant catch passes with his hands.
More likely, Brady will put the balls right where they need to go, Dez will catch them and the Pats will keep on keeping on.

ran into this earlier today....seemed like an interesting topic to discuss.
FYI- I don't think he's a bust, but needs a different system and qb to thrive. It's worthy of discussion. Go cowboys

I don't think he is a bust. I think part of the slowdown is from Dak not throwing it accurately enough to Dez. I posted a topic on this from Blogging the Boys but the topic ended up in error zone.

Many are living in the moment with Dez. They seem to forget how good he was the first five years of his career.
don't let the past remind us of what we are not now..............................................Crosby, stills, nash and young. he was a great player. but not any more.
