They're going full college scheme for Dak. If the NFL does this in full, I'm out. I hate college/high school offenses.

Oh come now.....

Okie red Steeler is a simple cadence pre-snap call.

Okie=Formation
Red= play is to the Right
Steeler = Sweep

NOTHING IS CHANGING EXCEPT maybe now we can uitilize the entire playbook. The blocking scheme may be tweaked some,but basically the same. One thing I think we will see more is 2 tightend sets..and not just in the redzone.

Jerry hinted at it during one of the post draft pressers. He mentioned using more WR’s and more RPO plays where Dak may run the ball more. I think they realize that Dez and his I’m the #1 WR give me the ball offense doesn’t work. So look for more multiple receiver sets and more RPO plays.

Good idea to let the league know this before the season starts. This way teams can be better prepared. More lunacy from the old ********** seeker

That would be me.
Same here and I think too many think it's all spread. There are some traditional teams and I still get off watching Bama, WIS, AU, LSU and the other more traditional offenses play but then again, those are also balanced teams. And then I can watch some wide open Big 12 and Pac 12 ball. It's like having the old NFL and AFL.

The other thing I like about college ball is the awesome person factor is not as high as the NFL with every play being celebrated as if it won the game.

Not a lot of true #1 across the league anymore. And with the RPO system taking over the league it seems teams will be going away from having that true #1. It will almost make the WR position not valued as high like the RB position was for a long time until the last couple of drafts.

Sure, you will have your freak's in the coming years where someone will take one in the top 10 but you're not going to see a plethora of WR even in the top 20 anymore in my opinion.
If you think the wr position is not still highly valued you must have slept through free agency.

Awwww, they don't pay any more attention to that spotlight seeker than we do.

Well it worked for wentz so why not follow suit? The eagles had no problem looking at his college take and doing what works for him.

Until this entire coaching staff and scouting team is purged, they will never win anything. The scheme is more outdated than Emory and Henry school of offense.

College football is pretty garbage, and the NFL has been trending in that direction since the CBA. Ugh.

The agenda you have is depressingly negative.

We just drafted a Y TE who is one of the better blockers. We may have a better OL than 2014/16 if Williams can step up. We might have some spread looks but most of the NFL does too with all the 3+ WR formations.

I don't see the 31/30 shotgun/pistol stuff all the time. I see a lot of playaction and playfakes which are Dak's strength. He is as good at the playfake as anyone I have ever see a la Jim Kelly, Phillips Rivers and Peyton Manning.
