True, but in fairness, that's a decent OL.

Further, as has been reported, the Rams coaching staff did a fantastic job in their game plan against us, using formations and motion to confuse the front 7, and get the LBs moving out of position. Also, our DL apparently had "tells" that gave the OL and coaches for the Rams an idea of our defensive calls on given plays. For example, based on where our DT might line up and how he used his hands in aligning, they could guess we were running a particular stunt, so they would audible to a run which could take advantage of us being out of position with a stunt.

We got outcoached Sat night. We can argue talent was a factor as well, but we got out coached.

I know it's a decent OL. My point was more about how you can build a good OL without having to dump a bunch of 1st round picks into it. People act like we need another 5 years to rebuild our entire OL before we can be good again. The Rams did all this in 2 years with new coaches and some veteran OL signings.

The Rams managed to run it down our throats with the following OL (not to mention, CJ Anderson ran all over us):

LT Whitworth, 37 years old, 2nd round pick by Bengals, signed by Rams in 2017
LG Saffold, 30 years old, 2nd round pick by Rams in 2010
C Sullivan, 33 years old, 6th round by Vikings, signed by Rams in 2017
RG Blythe, 26 years old, 7th round pick by Colts in 2016, signed by Rams in 2017
RT Havenstein, 26 years old, 2nd round pick by Rams in 2015

Basically the opposite of our OL. Average age of 30. No 1st rounders. 3 of them were signed as free agents in 2017.

Meanwhile, we need all 25 year old 1st round picks and the best coaches to go with it or else we crumble to pieces.

This is not possible
Garrett homies tell me we need to spend even more premium draft picks to "start rebuilding the OL"

I think Linehan is done
Jerry hasn't told his jellyfish HC what he can and can't say yet

Linehan will 'retire ' and cowboys will move on
This is the typical misplaced loyalty jerry displays
Meanwhile most good OCs will have been signed and we will be left with trash but who cares

Next season will be 8-8 anyway unless we make significant FA moves, which we won't

There's no way the goal of this organization is winning championships, NO way. Just change the name to Jerry's Kids and call ticket sales charitable donations so at least the poor saps that attend 'games' can write it off on their taxes.

If true, I find retaining Linehan even more discouraging than the loss to the Rams.

Admittedly, the loss to the Rams was more a function of a defensive letdown. Nonetheless, it was the offense, for the majority of the season, that came up short.

If the Jones family is all-in on Jason Garrett and Dak Prescott, then the only logical means of changing the future is revamping the coordinators.

But who said the FO was logical.

If you half the people who have threatened to leave actually do I’ll be a happy camper.

risen,I like Foles as a pinch hitter or my closer.Thats how philly used him. He's one helluva closer. If not for butter fingers Jeffrey last night, they may have won the game. I would take him on,but not as my starter. Foles will be lookin for big money to start somewhere. Why not Tampa? That's the perfect fit. Has all the offensive pieces in place there. Foles will get a big deal there and they will part ways with Winston.

This organization has zero accountability.

Zero.

And this is why it is doomed for annual failure.

Nobody is accountable for anything.

Well Jerry can’t say “Linehan can come back in 2019 if he finds a way to win 2 superbowls in one year”
