great post. Winning soothes many ills. Nicknames arise lol...etc. I doubt we will ever see any version of the triplets again. Its not a winning formula...not like it used to be. Now it takes all 11 dudes to do their jobs and win because EVERYONE is well prepared.

Who said the new version of the triplets would be solely responsible for winning a SB? No one. Also, if you're "tired of all the triplet talk" then don't click on the thread. Doesn't make sense that you do. Unless you just like to complain.

Yeah, it's all about instant gratification. You just proved it with your statement "win something...." That means you are unable to see any of the positives and will sit by and criticize no matter what the Cowboys do until they win a SB.

Amari? Amari is good, but I don't see him having the same passion Irvin had. I'm finding it hard to identify anyone who did, but T.O. was close.

What players can do for the team is different than comparing players for HoF type ability.

Zeke is a top RB relative to the other RBs of his era.

It doesn't really matter how he compares to Emmitt in terms of all time "greatness".

Aikman was great but his passing stats were somewhat pedestrian compared to some of his contemporaries.

In the same vein, Dak doesn't have to put up top 5 passer stats for the Cowboys to win.

Aikman himself says that Cooper is the best route runner that he's seen.

Irvin might be the all-time best in regards to being the heart of his team.
There's no reason the emotional leader needs to be the #1 WR.
Cooper's personality is more like Aikman (no nonsense).

We're Cowboys fans. There is no instant gratification going on with this team. It's a process they said. We were warned and are very much aware.
