Do we have the best o-line, corners and linebacking groups in all of football?

That would mean Zeke is better than I thought. I think part of the problem with this online is they are better at run blocking than pass blocking. I dont like using injuries as an excuse because every team has them and every year someone is out for a couple games. That dude that filled for Frederick did an absolute great job.
Well Looney did ok but what sets Frederick apart is making calls at the line. I can't disagree that the line is better run blocking than passing but this OL hasn't been good at all the past 2 seasons. I'm more impressed with Dak taking a beating and still getting up and winning games.

its not unreasonable to consider that they may very well be. Let's hope we see them healthy & performing like it.

If we do, and that's a big IF for all 3 units, then there should be no excuses this year to reach and win a NFC championship game. IMO the only unit thats close to being top 5 is our LBs.

The line needs to be healthy and play more consistent to be the top. Our LB's need to continue to improve. They are out best shot at being the best in the league, but I don't think they are there yet. Our CB's...no. They don't give the ball back to the offense enough to be considered that to me. They are solid...top half of the league. But they rarely seem to pick the ball off. CB's that do make the QB think twice. I'm not sure ours do that.

Dak is one tough guy! I agree about Frederick making those calls.

One could argue.
Obviously our oline is top 3 with a chance to regain that number one spot with Frederick and we have depth.
I wouldn't swap our corners for anyone. Jones and Chido starting and Brown and Lewis could both start for more than half the league. Brown is super underrated!
Linebackers would be extremely tuff to find a better starting 3 with LVE, Smith and Lee.
Thoughts?

LBs- Yes
Oline and CBs- No

they have been good, they just haven't been as great as the 2016 line. there is a difference. people around here expect the line to play like they did in 2016. one could argue that was one of the best all time OLs

Lol always hype. Jaylon my guy but he didnt have his best game vs the Rams and neither did LVE. CBS? Thats a joke. None of them get ints. Oline they are the best though
so one bad game and they suck!...I wonder who we think is better and what's the interception totals for other LBs in the league.

OL is top 5 with all the 1st round picks playing healthy. They havent all been healthy in a long time but I'm guessing they'll start the season that way, Martin absence seems precautionary (correct me if I'm wrong).

The CBs aren't there yet. I think they might be a top 10 unit but they must start getting interceptions. Jones looked real good for a lot of last year and Awuzie looks like he could surpass Jones as early as 2019, but intercept the damn ball.

LBs are a top 3 unit. They're in the conversation of the best but it takes A LOT to be absolutely, hands down, the best LB group.

opposing teams are not afraid of challenging our CBs because they have very little
fear of them INT' ing the ball.

at the worst, the throw will be just knocked down as a pass defense, and QBs can always come back and try it all again.
Jones NEVER plays the ball as to INT it. and I'm doubting he has hands and instincts for it.
his only two mere career INTs have off a batted, tipped ball for a runback INT (vs skins) and off a hail mary end zone pick.
And i'm leery that this current hip issue may leave him less of a player than what he was in coverage last year. It's a wait and see period.

and Awuzie spends too much time with his head not turned around to make a play on it, how would he have a chance to be in position to make a play on the ball in flight ?
Only 3 career INT in college and only 2 career INTs in two years at the NFL level ?
Neither CBs sounds like ball hawk types. and that limits the defense that needs far more of the turnover factor.

Best LBs for sure.

The OL underperformed last year but could be strong if they remain healthy.

Our corners are underrated.
