I have to disagree because not everybody has the cap room they might want to sign him but that doesn't mean they will or can

Yeah I tend to agree even though something in the back of my head says something's not right here. Is it about being the highest paid running back. Or is it about suck you dry franchise. I don't think we'll ever find out the answer at least not for some time to come just getting freaking camp and let's play football

Hence, the need for escalators that require the necessary provisions for whatever results best suit the team's needs.

If he fails to live up to those requirements for whatever reason, his compensation could then be adjusted accordingly.

The idea that the intent is to suck the franchise dry doesn’t make much sense to me because the only way to do that would be to stay with that franchise. And really, it’s the agent advising him, and the agent has no interest in what franchise wins or loses. His interest is in getting a % of the biggest contract he can.

Well isn't that sucking a franchise dry like you said he doesn't care just pay the guy. I'm not saying Elliott is wanting to do it. somebody wants to like I said something doesn't feel right I don't know where it's coming from but that's my instincts

I think that most of us realistically expect a deal done before the season starts. I'm sick of hearing negative news from him constantly though. He can watch the games with Andrew Luck for all I care at this point.
