Can we go 7-1 down the stretch?

Could see a possible 6-2...but 7-1 would be a stretch, IMO.

Sure......and Elephants can fly baby.
Last year we were 3-5 and everyone thought the Cowboys were out of it, then 7-1 came along. I am not talking to you specifically Pappy, I am talking to everyone that thinks we cannot do it.

10-6 or 11-5 if we stay healthy. Coop was playing hurt last night and still had a pretty good game. He probably would have caught that td pass but just didn't have the speed because of his injury.

We won after coming off of a bye week so that makes us 3 of the last 4 or in percentages, 75%. A sloppy win is a good win. The eagles win was not sloppy. We owned them no matter what the reason.

That's my humble take on this season so far. My final word is our team will most likely not be sitting at home come playoff time. Again, jmho

Lions? Really? Does it suck to be so bitter and pessimistic all the time? Even the Vikings dont look all that Daunting especially missing Thielen. The Chiefs defense isnt that great and shut them down. We just shut down Barkley, who is better than Cook. No reason we cant shut him down AT HOME.
Remember he predicted a loss this week, a loss before the bye, and seven straight losses starting this week. Could be he doesn't know what he's talking about.

NO

one of the toughest schedules left and during the part of the season where you play a ton of games in short time and on the road..im assuming 5-3 which is 10-6 and should win the division if they make it a priority of a must win for the eagles game..

Soo, according to your logic: Do NOT use past games to judge this team. Got it. That includes their Weeks 1-3 wins, as well as the recent NYG and Philly game. That means this team has a 50% chance at best to win against the Vikings next week since every week is an apparent blank slate.

Dak's record against Cousins means nothing. Cousins was on a horrendous Commanders team. He is now on a team that is actually capable of winning. It's not going to be easy. Dak's record against the Giants has always been nothing short of amazing, however, last night, he's lucky his RB made plays and that his defense made good stops in the first half because, whew... him and his WR's did not play well AT ALL. He can't do that next week when we play the Vikes.

You are the only one on this forum that reiterates my statements as pure facts. Don't take it so figuratively. We MIGHT/LIKELY will have to play catchup if this team continues the slow starts. The Lions ARE NOT a bad team. Do NOT underestimate them. They are better than the Jets and we got Molly whopped by the Jets! I understand we have a defense, but they can get gassed if Dak and Co. keep going 3 and out/ have field goals with Maybe Maher kicking.

I complimented this team last night after the win. I do not always complain.

ALSO, If we beat the Patriots I'll eat and cook ramen in my toilet. If we beat the Pats, I'll eat crow and I'll never talk bad about the Cowboys again. That's how much I highly doubt that game. We're going to be in Foxborough during one of their coldest months, and you think we stand a chance with the way this team starts out slow? Look at all the other teams that started out slow against them and tell me the scores of those games. Now, tell me what happened when the Ravens started out FAST. They won the game. The way to beat that team is fast starts. Kill their momentum. Fast drives, fast game. This Dallas team won't be mentally prepared for that game. I can't trust a team that struggled against the Giants to go up against a Juggernaut team in their home. Sorry not sorry .
NE hadnt played any team worth anything until last week and lost. They arent this scary juggernaut you say they are.

As much as I would love it. With this coaching staff and undisciplined mistake prone players going to be a no until proven otherwise.
:hammer:All the little things like kicking the KO short of the end zone to contest a run back. Pulling a tackler off the pile for ULConduct penalty. Holding

The only team on our schedule that worries me the rest of the way is the Dallas Cowboys.

If they don't beat us with Groundhog-Day mistakes, I think we can hang with anybody in the league.

Healthy and mature response. Personally, it's in the hands of our offline and Zeke at this point too play at 110% the rest of the way and keep us in the playoff hunt.
Eagles game was a best-case scenario for us starting with 2 turnovers.
Dak is Dak expect the worse and hope for the best.
Defense can hold its own as long as the offense is scoring points.
When all is said and done I see us going at best 8-8

This, except at worst, we likely go 1-7 with losses from the Vikes, Lions, Bears, Pats, Eagles, Rams, and the Bills (the win is Washington).

At best I honestly think we can go undefeated... but we have Garrett so thats not happening.

Probably 4-4 is accurate though.
I am not pessimistic like most...feels like some really want us to go 1-7, because they see that as a way for garrett to be not resigned. he is not getting fired mid year, specially in the second half of the season...he is in the last year of his contract, so outside of going to NFCCG, he is not getting resigned....so I am not wishful for us to lose for me to prove a point I have been trying to make.

I don't think bears are better than us....their offense is scary bad. I mean really bad. ...I think we beat Washington...they are a mess. a hot mess...and I think we will beat one of those other teams worst case scenario...in all probability Eagles...they despite this past win are a mess

that's why I said said 4-4

Giants actually played the Pats pretty close for a while in their game in Foxboro

NE hadnt played any team worth anything until last week and lost. They arent this scary juggernaut you say they are.

They dominated against those teams that were "worth nothing" according to you. Here are some of the scores from the past games against these nobody teams. Actually, let's look at the teams that Dallas has played as well:
Pats @ Was: 33-7
NYG @ Pats: 35-14
Pats @ NYJ: 33-0
Pats @ Miami: 43-0

DALLAS:
Dallas @ Was: 31-21
Dallas @ NYG: 37-18
Dallas @ NYJ: 24-22 (JETS WIN)
Miami @ Dal: 31-6

Notice anything here? Oh yeah. PATS DOMINATED these bad teams. Dallas did not. They let them compete with them throughout the majority of these games. Pats did not allow that. They lost against a VERY good Ravens team and they're now 8-1. We can cut some slack for them. Dallas does not get that privilege. They're a juggernaut regardless of who they've played...

Dallas did not? lol. Belichek is known for running up the score. Garrett isnt. Please stop. You actually look really stupid right now posting scores of dominating performances that are similar to each other lol. Now you are comparing our defense to that of the Jets, Miami, Giants, and Commanders? lol. Get out of here man

Good to get a win, even against a really bad giants team. A win is a win. 5-3 at the half way point- not terrible but that Jets loss makes getting a #2 seed very difficult. Difficult but not impossible.

So with 8 games to go, IMO, in order for this team to have a legit shot to at least advance further than they have since ‘95, they either have to get the #2 seed by going 7-1 down the backside of the season (and get some help) or just get extremely hot as a #4 seed, and win a WC game and a divisional playoff game for the first time in 24 years.

That’s the bottom line for me this season. Be better than they have been the last two decades. Can they do it?

Maybe. But they’re going to have to play a lot better than the last 8 games.

Remaining schedule is tough- Vikes, Pats, Bears, Bills, e-girls, and skins. Those teams combined are 23-10-1. We need to go 7-1.
Time to prove it- contender or pretender.
Ridiculous to expect 7-1 with this schedule. You need to get over the Bye. Not going to happen. Winning this division is still not a certainty.

This might be a bottom line for you this season but falling to 3-3 really blew any real possibility of gaining a Bye. Which even if we went 7-1 would need the Saints to lose 4 more and 49ers 5. C’Mon Bob.

That doesn’t mean we couldn’t still finish strong winning 10 or 11 games to win the division. And could still be a tough out in the playoffs.

I'm making myself look stupid :lmao2::lmao2:?

Listen here broski, Patriots aren't as good as we thought. Are they still a juggernaut? YES. They have Belichick as HC. Their defense is still good. Their offense with Sanu and Edelman is average-good (good enough to win games). Don't forget they also have the refs on their side half the time. I don't care if they "run the score up" as it's obvious they have the tangibles to do so.

Does Dallas stand a chance against them? Sure. Is that chance high? NO. A team that barely gets penalized (Pats) and a top 5 penalized team (Dallas) doesn't seem like a good matchup to me...

I think 11-5 is more like it, so 6-2 the rest of the way.
