...yeah might as well...it will hurt to see them get creamed though. Although I think a perfect scenario would be for Dallas to get to the playoffs...somehow win out...make it to, and even then win the SB...then fire Jason Garrett...just like Jimmy Johnson was...lol

If you would have bothered reading this thread you would see virtually nobody said the draft was the reason they wanted to lose, instead it was they wanted to see change come to the organization in terms of new coaching, new schemes, ect. Many stated that they feared Jerry would use going to the playoff as an excuse to keep Garrett, thus preventing these new changes from happening.

Why dont you get down off your high horse of telling people to go root for another team and understand their point of view instead. Maybe you are like Pavlov dog that just cheers when he sees the star no matter what, but dont question the motives or fanhood of those that do not.

If we miss the playoffs and lose the East...……...GARRETT IS GONE.

If we win the East and make the playoffs...……..GARRETT MIGHT BE GONE.

That means 44% of the board is rooting for the Cowboys the rest of the season and 56% are rooting for the Eagles. Also means if the Cowboys lose on Sunday there shouldn’t be much whining as the majority of the board should be happy.

Of course I want to see my team in the playoff race, but I'm also realistic about the status of this team. A playoff appearance is nice, but it is clear as day that the coaching staff needs to be sent packing, and this team gets a fresh start, hopefully with a competent head coach. That's what is most important right now.

you should always want your team to get in the playoffs. Anything can happen when you get in. Packers got in 2010 with a horrible record by defeating the Bears the last regular season game of the year. Then got hot and won the thing. It happens. And if you win the Super Bowl do you really care who is the GM or the coach.
