I never said Winston couldn't pass, the issue with him is inconsistency and turnovers. He also clearly doesn't have the leadership Dak does.

There is also an argument that those yards are mostly because of Mike Evans. There isn't a GM in the league that would trade Dak for Winston straight up.

You said we are the number one offense in the league based on passing as a reason for Dak, not inconsistent or TOs. So what does passing yardage matter then?

And if you want to extend the conversation to other attributes, are you saying Dak isn’t inconsistent? You know what is also a fact? Winston has been sacked 46 times. Dak led the league in fumbles when his sack numbers were that high and he surely wasn’t leading the league in passing yardage. I’m pretty sure Winston on this roster would be better than Dak, with the type of blocking Dak gets and the running game to go with it..

So if you want to talked Mike Evans, well we can talk Dak PRE-Amari Cooper as well, besides offensive line.

And if we are talking GMs, I’m also pretty sure no defense is going to defend Winston all day with one deep safety, man on the outside all day either.

16 of those games were the Zeke suspension and the first half of last year when the team was starting WRs like Deonte Thompson.

Complete truth but you and others are lead by your emotions and lack of football knowledge. Landon Collins let the cat out the bag about Dak when he played for the Giants. You think other teams don't agree? You're on something because how they play the Cowboys say they do. Stop Zeke and Dak can't routinely beat jack expletive passing the ball. Not only will Dak not be in “top 10 in MVP voting”, there may not even be a top 2. Dak will not receive a vote.

Your answer to both questions is going to be one word - loyalty. Jerry doesn't look at the big picture and makes emotional decisions rather than smart decisions. Jerry will pay Dak out of loyalty, not because he deserves it or has earned it.
