Surprising? Maybe Belichick comes and coaches the LBs. That would be a surprise.

The players wanted back all of the old staff. They are all nice guys and players aren't held accountable. I saw all about Brown and his "tough talk" with Zeke during AON. These guys need coaches who will light a fire under them.
I don't know if I've heard those sentiments for anyone other than Brown.

whoever is the Wr coach I just hope they don't keep out our start WR on critical plays because it was not his time in the rotation.

I am not sure of Brown and not too positive on Columbo because I have a hard time understanding why our running game is not better than it is. We have, according to many, one of the top olines in the league. We have Zeke who has to be one of the top runners in the league especially considering we signed him to a 90 million dollar contract. We have a passing game that can put up alot of yards. Why are there not more lanes open up for our RBs? With the passing game & the strength of this oline, all our RBs should be gaining some serious yards, but yet we worry if we can make a 3rd and 1. Seems like Zeke is always hitting a brick wall when he tries to run between the tackles.

Way underperforming IMO. is it the scheme/Oline coach (Columbo) or is it Brown. With our passing game alone, you would think defenses would respect our running game more but they don't and many times they don't have to.

When clear eye view and lve where playing well in 2018, Bloom was da bomb. In 2019/20, people hate him

Sometimes you don’t need better, but still need different. All things equal, replace everyone...that energizes every player and improves focus this year. But don’t change just to change....if some of our currenLt guys are better than what we can bring in, then keep them.

Really? I pretty sure I could have coached Zeke. Brown is a "nice guy". Zeke needs a hardazz.

Emmitt Smith 1st 4 years: Rushing 1262-5699, 4.5 YPC, 50 TD. Receiving: 189-1235, 6.5 YPC, 3 TD.

Zeke 1st 4 years: Rush 1169-5405, 4.6 YPC, 40 TD. Receiving, 189-1619, 8.6 YPC, 8 TD.

Zeke did this in 56 games. Emmitt played 62.

There is no reason on earth to complain about Zeke's play or to suggest he needs different coaching.

Not sure we need a RB coach unless they get back to actually running the ball.

I know we're all critical of Zeke's conditioning as it seems he's always taking himself off the field. However, Zeke did have the 2nd most touches among RBs and the 2nd most snaps this season. I changed my opinion a bit on Zeke's conditioning after seeing those stats. For some reason its really evident when he's coming off the field and maybe the new coaching staff can give him more planned breaks.

https://www.fantasypros.com/nfl/reports/snap-counts/rb.php

not just matter of tapping out,.. but its the timing of when he taps out - for instance, the red zone scoring area is too critical a time and place where his presence and playmaking ability is most needed.
I can understand if Zeke is nicked and banged up- such as his head injury vs Philly where Pollard had to fill in on 3rd and one call (poor play call of option pitch to pollard who fumbled for first time all year)

some fans her eon the interwebs think they know whats a goo or bad coach when they have zero idea what goes on behind the scenes lol

on your response Zeke rarely tapped out it was overblown, he chose when he wanted to rotate but still had 300 carries, 3 short of the most in the entire NFL..Henry was first with 303..

ridiculous acting like he tapped himself out so often because he was out of shape or didnt want to run.. some of those times he was hit hard or fell on top of and wanted a play or two to get his baring's..

when you have carried the most in the league over 4yrs and only 3 short of the lead this season, you basically are choosing your rotation for subs vs a ton of teams rotating not just one back but 2 backups in sub packages and why you see them with 80-100 LESS carries then zeke..

Zeke ran hard played hard and also stay din to block and catch passes..IMO best 3 down back int he league and wasn't the issue and should stop being mentioned for somehow being soft..pshh:facepalm::popcorn:

Yep and some seem to think that Zeke should forego his own safety and well being for the sake of the team because he got paid. I have seen Zeke take some big hits that would have concussed most guys. He takes a beating out there and should be recognized for it.

I don't know if I've heard those sentiments for anyone other than Brown.

They all love Garrett and have been vocal about it prior. No one is saying anything now that hes gone. Players have been very comfortable with this staff for some time now.

Good. None of them should be back unless the NEW HC and DC want anyone back.

The only surprise would be if some of coaches under Garrett last year actually get hired by other teams. I see a lot of them taking jobs below what they were doing here.
