Your qb play should be one of the main reasons you win. Dak can’t get it done. How many times must this be proven?
This is a dumb point every time someone makes it.

How long before you decide that? Is it true for Josh Allen? Wasn't it true for Matt Stafford?

Any given Sunday, as they say. That was one of my former CZ handles during my perpetually banned days.

But it's true.

You guys can sit here and whine and moan all day about a loss. It's the 49ers. We're no good. They're the best, and we're the worst. Dak this, Jerry that..

Waah!

I'm still enjoying this season. I may criticize a few things here and there. I may call the FO, staff, or players out. But I refuse to sit here in an echo chamber and let all the crying kill my vibe.

We're not getting a new QB this year. We're not going to fire McCarthy mid-season. Jerry isn't going anywhere.

Why do teams practice? Why do teams watch film? Why do teams re-evaluate after the season and before the draft?

I see a lot of tears after a loss everyone knew might come. We're good. But the 9ers are good and they have great chemistry. Still, they stomped us once; doesn't mean they stomp us every time. Even if they do, why waste your time posting if all you're going to do is post the same one or two lines about Dak or Jerral Wayne all day?

I see some of you actually enjoy airing your grievances. Mostly, about the owner or #4. I challenge you to provide a thoughtful analysis or even better realistic workable solutions that can actually help solve the problem rather repeating the same futile one-liners.

17 games. We still have 12 more to go.

Then, the playoffs.

And look at it this way. If we don't make the playoffs with this team, it'll give us reasons to make changes for next year.

Before you even [predictably] say it, yes, Jerry will be here next year. And probably Dak. But if we all know that, why bang your silly heads against the wall crying about it? It's a game. The team you like lost. You still have other things in life to be happy about, hopefully. I like winning as much as the next person. But I'm not going to let a game that I have no control over ruin my day, or level of enjoyment this season.

A lot of our fans have become as predictable as Mike McCarthy's offense. We get it. You're not happy about the loss.

The only solution for the team is to hopefully win more of the next 12 games. Any Given Sunday.

You guys have seen that movie, right?
I disagree. Yes, on paper this was just one loss- true. Yes there are still 12 games left, not even half-way through this season- you are correct. THIS WAS NOT JUST ANOTHER LOSS - to me. We didn't just lose either- we were destroyed. The Cowboys were never in this game. They may just have been a high school team playing the Niners - what would the difference have been?
I was excited by this year and was expecting better with this team. I guess that is my own fault. I fell for it again - nobody to blame there but myself. This is the same mentally weak, poorly coached team we've had for decades. Same old, same old. You say PLAYOFFS, lol - who cares. If they manage to wiggle in to the playoffs this year it will be the same old - ONE AND DONE, if they even win one. It just gets old. BUT THIS WAS NOT JUST ANOTHER LOSS - THIS ONE HURT

Come on OP, this wasn't just a hiccup loss in the season, this was a complete dismantling. I'm the kind of fan that tries to look for the bright side, but this game took all the air out of my sails. This team is soft and it's the same ole' story anytime they need to come up with a big win: they shrink.

We're tired of it. I'm tired of it. Cowboys are the joke of the NFL.

I agree with the any given Sunday philosophy. The Cowboys could actually beat the 49'ers in a rematch, especially if it was in Dallas.

This game was different though. It completely disproved the theory that Dallas has closed the gap, and is on the same level as the 49'ers. It also illuminated several significant deficiencies in the roster. This game also should have ended the debate over the QB once and for all, but I doubt that will be the case.

i have to take issue with some of these fans there hoping a rainbow appears and every thing is going to be peachy but there are a lot more losses coming especially when a qb can't read defenses especially simple ones so get ready to miss the playoffs beca

It's not just a single loss.. .it's not just a mere regular season game,

This game was shaped up to be the " measuring stick :" vs the same team that has playoff tossed
us 2 years in a row.

And this was up against one of the 2 NFC teams that we'll be measured against should we not falter
down the stretch and make the playoffs.

But make no mistakes, whether wild card or divisional title, the road goes thru San Francisco again,
and this game did not feel we are anywhere competitive against them as we were in the playoffs.

for sure but I'm not sure how you missed the defense getting molly whopped..they offered no resistance to the beatdown..it was ugly, The closest anyone got to a niner WR was post game interviews...
Well, yeah, they weren't good last night but if we are looking at the bigger picture, I have far more faith in the defense playing well over the remainder of the season than the offense.

That's the point. The OP is talking about this being one game and they will get better but the reality is the QB has been in the league 8 years. This is what he is. And the OC got run out of GB for being stale and predictable and unimaginative. That's not changing. He's the same guy.

Well one big issue is that Stafford and Allen are just more talented QBs that can make throws that Dak simply can't make. Allen is even more mobile than Dak now too.

Dak is what he is. The fact you still believe he can be the guy is just laughable at this point. And what's sad is I bet the Jones boys think like you too and that means 2-3 more years of the same results from this franchise.

The other issue is you have to likely make a financial decision on Dak soon. It would be positively idiotic for Jerry to double down on this and extend Dak. But I fear he's going to do it. You'll applaud it most likely and then wake up 3 years from now and realize why you were so late to realize Dak is a limited QB.

I mean sure they have more arm talent, but they're also far more turnover prone. I don't know what your standard for "the guy" is. If Dak can't, then there's only like, what, 5 QBs who can.

Because any time you say Herbert, Lawrence, whoever, you have to apply the same logic as has always been given to Dak, that what he's done well doesn't matter because he hasn't done it in the playoffs. That critique goes all the way back to 2018, so it's not about years in the league.

The big picture to me is again the "Dogs" we think we have rolled over in another big game.. regardless of the QB piss poor play. If we played another game like the playoff lose last year thats one thing... we went to SF wearing pink tootoos and got our doors blown in, just like the QB beating up on JV teams doesnt make you good...

I'd take Herbert or Lawrence right now over Dak in a heartbeat. They have higher ceilings than Dak.

Any fan who honestly would take Dak over those two right now is just a Dak homer. It's kind of sad to watch.

we could play the 49ers 10 / 10 times and if we happen to win one of those games it would not be because of Dak.
It would be because of the hurricane and the meteor.

Ok I would too. But there is no logic that they can be "the guy" but Dak can't.

I appreciate the positivity but that was a really bad loss. Dak looks cooked. Hard to see this team competing with SF and Philly at all. We will see.
the lions will also have a really good record due to who they play which is the nfc south and afc west so if the cowboys make the playoffs it will be as a wild card team at best
