2 Questions For the Zoners Who Want to Let Moore Go

Counterpoint, I'm talking about using what he comes from and the fact that we've been running, effectively, the same offense for 15 years. Mike's background is from the Schottenheimer/Bill Walsh systems. I'm wanting an OC from that like Mike McCoy. Even if we bin McCarthy next year, I think a new OC would help, and McCoy would be a great fit here.

I just find it odd that Moore's offense is 'outdated' given he has been the OC only since 2019 and since becoming OC Dak's stats have increased each season save for this season when Dak set the lead for INT's.
While Moore's offense may have its flaws, you also have to take into account the QB.

Look at the Rams when McVay developed the offense but could only go so far with Goff at the helm yet it took Stafford to elevate the offense.....with the same offensive overseer.

Do you watch football? McVay was a prodigy from the get go in Washington. Good offenses off the bat. Clearly a rare one. What on earth ever suggested Moore had that? McVay coached in a SB in his second year so you are either lying or stupid.

Dak has been the starting Dallas QB for 7 seasons now and so why not get rid of the status quo because it isn't working????

For all the people who want to ditch Moore, help me understand. If you drop the Andy Dalton year, the last 3 years the Cowboys have been 4th,
1st and 6th in scoring. For those 3 years combined, the Cowboys are 2nd in scoring only behind KC.
The OC accomplished this with a QB that everyone but those completely in the tank for Dak agrees has fatal limitations, torpedoed
our post season this year with turnovers, and ended our post season last year with the stupidest in game decision I've seen since.....well ever.

Seems like the obvious problem is the QB not the OC, and if anything this OC has over achieved.

My 2 questions to the legion of Zoners who want to ditch Moore are:
1. Given Dak's liabilities, what exactly do you think a new OC will realistically accomplish that Moore hasn't already accomplished?
2. Given how profilic Moore's offenses have been compared to those of other OC's, do you realize it's likely that any offense under a new OC
will be worse not better?

So your first issue with your analysis is assuming Dak is a problem. As has been shown here is recent days, Jimmy Johnson AND Bill Parcells both think Dak is good enough to win a super Bowl.

Read that last sentence again, slowly, until you understand it.

Unless you, and your ignorant ilk, think you know more football than they do, let's just move on from that ignorance.

2nd- we have an offensive HC who won a super Bowl with his offense and calling plays. Snot nose has never been past the divisional round in LARGE part to his predictable and unimaginative playcalling. BP mentioned his playcalling as an issue.

You are not getting the value out of McCarthy that you should be. You are getting 35% of the benefit at best of what McCarthy can actually do.

Without Dak, and we have seen the offense without Dak in the last few years bc of injury, the offense is bottom 1/3. That is even with the great Cooper Rush running things that, again, your ilk, thinks is better than Dak.

So you wanted reasons, those are basic reasons. I can go into more depth if needed.
