I guess you guys missed the part where Jimmy said you weren't winning crap with dak unless he has a stacked team to carry him. Wow, just wow I bet he would say the same thing about Rush if he had a stacked team to carry him too. shrugs, you can't make this crap up.
Man if we just had Romo back. He was such a big game performer. So many great playoff wins.

Where did I say cut? Where exactly? I said bring in a new OC. Hopefully experienced. Hopefully someone that can coach a running game and stick to it. Hopefully someone that can get Dak to cut down on the mistakes. Hopefully someone that can develop a young draft pick. 2 years they need to do something different. The only chance I see of trading Dak is if a good team loses their starter in camp and is desperate.

Or we can just yell Dak Dak Dak while the real reason for this garbage sits in the owners box.

Exactly, and, without a new OC, the next QB is going to be set up to fail, and then we will repeat the cycle until we get rid of Garrett's influence. When other teams are making it clear that they know what we are going to run, that's a clue that the OC needs to change his style or we need to change OCs. The 49ers literally stated before the game that we run a "simplistic offense". They made it crystal clear before the game that they knew what we were going to do. Moore didn't heed the warning from the 49ers that they figured him out. Sure enough, they had figured him out. That's a big reason we only scored 12 points. Good luck moving the ball on one of the best defences when they KNOW what you're going to do. It's like they were in the huddle every play because they sort of were.

The only reason to change from Moore is we know how things currently are that Dak can’t get us over the jump so maybe a shakeup is what’s needed.

Kellen Moore is not the problem but what else can we do…
Putting on our KM hat, which, if any, of these could be an answer:

  • No confidence in Dak to execute despite his talent
  • No confidence in his talent at all
  • Execution by the offense as a whole, Dak is 1/11th of the offense
I’ve never really had an issue with Moore but agree there have been questionable calls at times. Are we shooting the messenger for the message?

Oh, the old Romo excuse to make up for a pea-brain dak who can't process the field. Yeah, it's Romo's fault. lmao
Can you read? Please go back. I am not saying Dak is the guy. I am saying they are probably stuck for 2 years. Change is needed. A quality OC might help. Something needs to be different. Yet go on and keep chirping.

We need a run first offense and Moore does not call plays like that .......... run up the middle every first down is not getting it done.

Some posters here think you can only do one thing at a time. I suppose they have never heard of multitasking. We can literally change OCs AND draft a QB this year or next year to get ready for 2025. But an OC change is needed, especially when one of the top defences literally said days before the game that they knew what was coming and proved that they weren't joking.

Beating the Bucs meant nothing; they were a lousy team
But when he came up against it in the playoffs vs a good team in two years he came up small
All flash and no substance when it mattered
The last series in the game last year was beyond pathetic.

Yes, they did. The most important one in the playoffs, just like last season.
Last season they had trouble against a lot of teams, not just the 49ers. They weren't really a no show in this game, it's just that Dak threw that redzone pick. I didn't expect the Cowboys to put up 30 points on the 49ers, did anyone? I figured it would be a low scoring game. But once Pollard went down, say good night.

Yup, and the best OCs also know when their opponent is basically in the same huddle and adjust accordingly. With the way Moore was calling the plays, he practically had the playcalls on the Levi Stadium jumbotron with how the 49ers had us figured out.

That pass on 2nd and 2 was really stupid. It's not that I think the OC is bad overall, I was just never crazy about situational play calling. Overall he's ok, even good at his job. But I often find myself cursing at the TV by some of the play calls in certain situations. Don't make things more complicated than they have to be. Can we get the ghost of Tom Landry? I don't remember screaming at the TV when he was calling plays.

The 49ers didn't exactly light us up either. I hope they beat the Eagles, but if they play like that, no way they beat the Eagles.

Naw, let's make the change and watch so the other guy gets the same blame. This crap bothers me none. I like watching and laughing at this poor excuse for a team. Watching Jerry lose and cry is the only thing that makes me happy about this crap show anymore. You guys keep on dreaming of the glory years, don't let me burst your bubble. Yeah, next year we will get them.

How was that great Dak-led offense against SF last season and this season in the playoffs???? Oh, and you left out where Jimmy said Dak can lead a team to the Super Bowl so long as he has everything perfect around him.
Lastly, McCarhty's Packers won the Super Bowl in 2010 when GB went 10-6 and if his offensive mind was so good why did GB get bounced 1 and done the next season after going 15-1.....and why hasn't McCarthy done crap since 2010 in terms of playoff success?
Keep in mind that McCarthy went 8-8 his first HC year in GB in 2006 and only after Joe Philbin came on as the OC in 2007-2011 did GB make it to the playoffs 4 of the 5 years he was there....so was it really McCarthy or was it Joe Philbin that deserves the credit????
OMGZ

You got me.

SF is better than us. Go figure.

He needs more weapons and a ground game.

Look, i wasn't for hiring McCarthy in the first place...but if you are going to make that mistake, you have to let him coach what he knows. So this is where we ignore his 2016 Cc game appearance and the 5 victories in the playoffs from 2011-2016?

What is so great about Kellen's resume, since we want to bag on what McCarthy has actually accomplished?
