It probably doesn't matter anyway. For every negative source you claim, I can match it with a "wait and see" source.

If he does well he signs a market deal (55-60m) which when paired with 40m in dead money means a LOT dedicated to QB position next year no matter what.

I never said he was a standout. Im of the mind to wait and see what a second chance brings.

If hes as terrible as YOU claim...id think the cowboys would have dropped him by now. Regardless of jerrys stubborn ego.

And too many to count or list first round failures especially at quarterback the team who gave up three first round picks for the dude supposed to have a quality GM and that was one of the dumbest moves ever and that happens when people are reaching for quarterbacks and people are upset we gave a Fort for the guy seriously it's San Francisco it's got the problem then they turn around and pay their running back too much money in my opinion the guys already seen the best of Christian McCaffrey and they overpaid the man both in a trade and don't get me wrong the guys in exceptional running back but now they're having problems signing their wide receiver that's allegedly elite and everybody should get him I don't know how he's not on a team making $35 million guy but yeah other franchises make mistakes.. Anybody counting on this guy to be anything better than I mean his ceiling is probably Geno Smith but Gina Smith took a decade to get that way he regurgitated around the league until he got better.. We waiting five or six years for this kid to get good besides the fact that his contracts gonna be up and he's probably gonna be very greedy and want more money than he's worth.. However that said I'd still probably demoting Cooper rush and allowing him to either be traded or cut because we need to see what we have in Trey Lance not to be Prescott successor but if Prescott decides to leave himself and he's gone then we might as well have a year to look at Trey Lance get a great draft pick in 2026 along with every superstar in this team needs to be moved traded if there's no Prescott we better just go ahead and make this team lean and mean and start looking at 2026 and beyond..

We know enough based on what he has shown that his ceiling ain't that high. He is average to good at best. People making excuses about him and his play are just fooling themselves to feel good about him.

We need to see more. See him in MM's offense. See what he has learned the past year from sitting and learning and what he did, and will do in all the practices over the past year.
I do not go by anything before he got here. There were injuries, and how well did they try to develop him in SF.

Jimmy G was not the answer, and Purdry, though he looks very good. We seen he could not carry the team without his top players, either 1 or both missing. The offense struggled more.

How many other players, including QB's, struggled, then went to other teams and was very successful?
Maybe not so many QB's as other players, but still it has and can happen.
