Yep... today's NBA lacks in fundamentals so severely that it is hard to watch at times...

there was a play in the 1st Thunder/Laker game where Kobe received a pass, took three steps to get set, took another small step as he was guarded, then shuffled his feet before he dribbled when he made his move towards the basket. He literally took six steps without dribbling.

great second half, i wish we would have put them away early and got lots of rest for the back to back, but a win is a win. if we can win game 3, i think we will sweep them. TP played pretty well, we have done a GREAT job on CP3 so far, but at the expense of leaving guys wide open for some 3s, which is how they stayed in the game. hopefully we can continue to contain him and the guys start to miss.

Are you a Rockets or Spurs fan?

I guess since I kept confusing Emmitt for a Mavs fan when he is a Thunder fan, I shouldn't get upset with your confusion........but to answer your question, I am both......but neither are the Houston Rockets.....confused? Well I am a Spurs fan since birth. The Rockets I speak of are the Converse Judson Rockets, my Alma Mater......

and then acted like a little female dog with his coach on the bench, i use to love wade, specially after the abused (with help from the refs of course) the mavs in the finals. but i gotta say, i truly dislike him as much as any athlete! he constantly makes dirty plays, yet is NEVER disciplined by the NBA! if artest dropped anyone like wade did the pacers PG in game 2, he would have been done for the playoffs!

6-0 in the playoffs......if not for that brainfart to end game 4 vs the Jazz, they have 6 straight double digit victories.

As far as their defense goes, I think it is far better than they are getting credit for. While it isn't on the level of the Bruce Bowen years, it is still very good. Considering that they are more uptempo now, giving up and average of 87.5 ppg (with a high of 92) is outstanding.....especially in the Western Conference playoffs.

Offensively, they are scoring 103.7 a game....that is a point differential of approximately 16.2 ppg.

While both the Spurs and the Thunder are both 6-0....the Thunder could have easily lost games 1,2, and 4 in the Dallas series, as well as game 2 vs the Lakers.

But I will say this about the Clippers...it is very evident that they are a wounded team.....but, that is the nature of the beast. And what do you do to a wounded animal, you put it out of its misery before it bites or claws you and gives you some disease or infection......in this case the disease or infection equals a loss in a game or series.

BTW, yes I am obnoxious when it comes to the Spurs.....afterall, they are the 3rd best franchise in the history of the NBA, behind the Lakers and Celtics. Yes the Bulls have 2 more rings, but aside from the 90s, the overall existence of the Bulls has been basically mediocre to average at best.

From what I gather from the information on here, you are merely a fairweather Mavs fan.....also, your credibility here is about on the level of Romo2Austin and C&LF......so for you to throw stones in my direction is futile to say the least....you are not David, and I am not Goliath....even if my Spurs dwarf your Mavs (if that is your real favorite team).
