Not what I expected from our first 4 picks, but not bad either

C
TE
WR
S

no Dline which is surprising...I would think that we go after Moore in FA now or maybe Clabo depending on where they see Frederick landing (C or G)

I've got a lot of questions about the safety position... who the heck are our starters. I hope we aren't counting on Will Allen.

I don't know but I would say Church and Johnson early.

Allen and Wilcox in reserve.

So, in the end we got Terrance Williams from the 49ers for trading down.

He carried the ball some.

True enough, very interesting prospect. I'm liking that one a lot, but there are definitely some questions about how soon he'll be ready for the big show.

I'm not nearly as excited over Wilcox as Dallas is.

I'd much rather have Phillip Thomas. I don't like guys who are projects. Jerry does though.

are you serious? we drafted a safety who has played saftey for one season? call me out on it if this works, but I see him being a special teamer at best.

Couldn't Moore have gone somewhere besides NY??

Don't worry, he'll be out of the league in just a couple of years.

Slow, small, and weak is no way to make it in this league.

Wilcox is a reach, this a reminds me of the AOA or Stanbach project
This is what I am thinking. He has played safety for only one year??

I agree, you don't draft projects in the 3rd round when it is a position of need.

OT must be Winston or Claybo, if so I like it.

OL got better up the middle and on the outside, TR has 2 new weapons and we got another S with upside.

Now just give me a RB in the 4th.

Well round 2 we took a backup TE over other players who could be starters. Round 3 we take a project safety over guys ready to start in the NFL.

Not a big surprise.

I'm not crazy about the Wilcox pick. Only one year of experience at FCS level. Yes, he's a good athlete, and will be a good threat as a kick returner, but if they were looking safety, either of the Thomas' (Phillip or Shamarko) would have provided a more immediate contributor.

What I would have done - DT Brandon Williams - Missouri Southern

Wilcox was rated ahead of Reid by Kiper if you care about ratings...no reach at all. Only one year at Safety, but was first team all conference and apparently was one of the standout performers in Mobile at Senior Bowl.
