***2013 Nfl Draft Round 3 Discussion Thread***

As someone who has watched every game that Phillip Thomas has played...smh

Missed the boat on that one. With that being said I'll wait for a couple seasons before I give my final judgement. The last two drafts have me thinking this may turn out well. Only time will tell.

Like we have been waiting for a safety for how long and we draft one thats a project? I mean sure he may have good hands since he was a wr but come on..tell me the scouts have seen something spectacular in this guy

They have.

How many 5'8" safeties are doing anything in the NFL?

Matt Elam isn't much bigger.

Neither was Thomas Everett.

Um, ok? I'm an attorney too...and I have absolutely no idea what you are saying.

T. Fred is our starting center or guard day one. Escobar is a "starter" because our base will like be 12. Williams will replace Austin (I expect him to play slot this season and will be cut/traded next). JJ Wilcox may not start immediately, but he will in short order.

Mayock likes Wilcox, he says will be a starting safety.

My only concern we needed a FS more then a SS.

Thomas might have been better.
Wilcox is a FS

Seahawks just took Jordan Hill from Penn State...one of the players the cowboys liked

Well, you're either very lucky or very unlucky. :D You choose!

I bet a RB round 4, what do you think?

I want that DT bad but I think they go RB in round 4!

Both safeties are FSs really playing either two deep or at times one deep. I don't know how often Kiffin uses a safety in the box. Anyone got an idea?

They are both about 4.5 guys, but Thomas has more ball skills, Kiffen needs a center fielder in my opinion.

We will see, Kiffen needed a DT that gets up field, I think that is Ratliff or Hatcher, both have that ability.

I just don't know who are Barber is?

We have the corners to play cover 2, we have the DT's, can any of our S's be the ball hawk, I hope so.

Do we still have the 31st pick? Its still showing it as ours on the espn site..

Nassib still out there too I think
I have to guess Barkley wishes he went into last year's draft where he likely would have gone high in the 1st.
