If we were not set at WR and TE then apparently we were not set anywhere.....

I like the picks (escobar/williams) just think we had more pressing needs

We had WAY more pressing needs.

But if 2-3 years from now all of these five players so far are helping or starting, this was a success.

If they thought they were the best players, that is what you want.
I'm just not sure there werent just as good players there at psotions of major need

that's how the good teams win, building from the inside, out, unlike Dallas, that builds from the outside, in. That's why teams like Seattle, SF and Baltimore win and get in the playoffs and Dallas is stuck at 8-8

That is how you draft, wont have to overpay to keep starters in the trenches past age 30. rotation and depth, similar formula to the early 90s cowboys.

You open up trade possibilities and keep cap in check. They really only lacked a dynamic outside threat (Harvin) and pas rusher (which they plugged in FA this year)
