I remember watching Stephen Morris last year against NCState I believe where he lit them up.. Again this was NCSU but i think the kid threw for almost 600 yards.

Yep, threw for an ACC-record 566 yards as well as 5 TD's. He's got elite arm talent. The question is whether he can run an NFL offense, which I believe he can. He makes great NFL throws already at Miami. He's perfected the back-shoulder throw ala Aaron Rodgers. His overall game reminds me of Rodgers' too. He just needs to become more consistent this year.

Johnny Manziel 6'0" uh no, closer to 5'9".

He's listed at 6'1". I took an inch away cause I know he's not that tall and he said himself in an interview during the Cotton Bowl that he's 6'0" on the nose.

maybe with tall cleats. I know way too many aggie students that see him around and they all laugh at how anyone could think he's 6'0".

Not sure if he's going to go pro or not but my guy is Taylor Kelly. Watch out for a break out year from him.

Im a UGA fan, if Aaron Murray and UGA can make it through the first 4 games (@clemson,S.Carolina,N.Texas,LSU) they have a great chance of running the table.Thats a big IF though.

Braxton Miller is going to be really intriguing to teams. Shocked he isnt on that list.

I actually like Taylor Kelly. Only saw him play a couple games last season but I liked what I saw. He's a dual-threat and shows good poise. I'd have to watch more tape on him though to really get a good feel for him. I'd bet that he returns to school for his Senior season so he'd be a 2015 prospect.

Braxton Miller needs to improve a lot as a pocket passer before NFL teams start looking at him seriously as a high-round draft pick. He has great athleticism and decent size at 6'1, but he tucks and runs far too often if his first read isn't there. And he's inconsistent with his accuracy. this year will be big for him to show if he's improved.

He seems like a great prospect I agree, but I honestly feel if Jerry drafts a QB with the first round pick it will be the dumbest decision he has ever made as a GM.

Yeah, Green Bay was so dumb for drafting Aaron Rodgers in the 1st round when they had Brett Favre.

Okay maybe not that dumb but close to it. With this new CBA you want those first rounders to start asap, and especially at QB because it gives you so much cap flexibility. Drafting one in 2014 you will get a very small dosage, and at that point it's time to re-sign him not really knowing what your going to get. Tony Romo is going to be here until at least 2017 but most likely with him getting his contract restructured in 2014 possibly 2015 he will be here until 2018, so drafting a guy in 2014 means he will have a contract until 2019 and then he is a UFA. It's much smarter to wait until 2016 which would give him 2-3 years of starting time to show what he's worth, and address other issues in the first. This year we will most likely draft a D-linemen in the first, 2015 will more then likely be a OT, then in 2016 you get your QB. I know it's easy to speculate but that's the route they should take.

Generally, if you don't have a first-round quarterback, the rest of it doesn't matter.

After tonight, I don't think Derek Carr's going to be a sleeper pick anymore... His stat line:

52-73, 453 yards & 5 TD's....

Yes, you read that right. The man threw the ball 73 times!! And was really clutch in leading his team back to a victory in OT against a solid Rutgers D. He looked elite out there and made great throws all night. If this is any indication of his season, I fully expect him to shoot up draft boards and possibly even be a 1st round pick. Only one game though, so I won't overreact.

I'm interested to see what Aaron Murray does. He has RBs that can set up some nice play action passes.

His fate will be decided in the first 4 games.

@Clemson, S.Carolina,N.Texas, LSU.
If he can put up good numbers through that stretch, he'll go in the first round. If not, prob 2nd-3rd. He is a good QB, but he HAS to show up in a big game.

The QB for NIU, Jordan Lynch looks pretty good. Has got size, speed, and seems accurate.

**Update**

Should've added this guy. Apparently he's moving up boards quickly.

Jeff Matthews, QB, Cornell 6-4 224 lbs

-An Ivy League QB, he certainly hasn't faced good competition, nor will he in his college career. But regardless, Matthews has a lot of intrigue from NFL scouts. What stands out to them: Aside from his prototypical size, Matthews has a cannon for an arm. You can see it in his highlights, and from everything I've read, he might even have a stronger arm than Logan Thomas, which says a lot.. He also has great footwork and mechanics, with a quick, 3/4 release. On top of all that, he's a really smart guy (obviously). He has tremendous upside, particularly as a developmental guy (which is what Dallas is looking for). Here's an excerpt from his scouting report:

"On the field, he has ample control of the offense, audible autonomy and an elite level of route concepts and defensive schematic "tells." Not only can he use a hot route against an unsuspecting defense, but he also can change a half-field route to give him a new, more leveraged play to attack a defense. Mathews uses his eyes well to switch fields with the subtlety to move safeties and linebackers in both zone and cover-one man defenses.

Ivy League coaches rave about Mathews' mental capacity and the little details of the game in which he has flashed brilliance. Mathews wows Cornell defensive coaches and conferences opponents with his pre-snap vision, football IQ, savvy and room to improve his senior season."

Here's more from that scouting report on him. Worth reading: http://www.sportingnews.com/nfl/sto...nell-jeff-mathews-ben-roethlisberger-steelers

-He'll get knocked for facing such weak defenses, but so did Romo and Roethlisberger. At the very least he's a guy to keep an eye on this season and throughout the draft process. Could very well be a top developmental QB prospect in next year's draft.

I really like Jeff I think he can be a stud prototypical QB.

Not impressed with Murray. He's just not an elite prospect like he's made out to be. Maybe a 3rd round pick or so
