If that's why you think we agree with Odor then you are absolutely clueless. Knowing that there are fans like you that are so far in left field makes me laugh.

There is no place in baseball for that. At all. I dont care if the slide was illegal or dirty. You dont throw a right hook for a slide. This isnt the UFC. At the end of the day Bautista is a very arrogant guy, so i can see the animosity you guy may have towards him, but had Bautista landed the punch instead, i dont think id be reading rave reviews from fans and media pundits alike. This is my issue.

So then please elaborate. You know when i laughed. When Bautista hit the home run last year and send the Rangers home packing. Canadian teams get no respect from anyone, so you can forgive me for defending my team on this side of the future wall.

Y'all won that series. Congrats, was a good series. Sent us home, then the Royals sent y'all packing. You know why I laughed as well but I'll explain it again. Cause a lot of fans think Odor hit Bautista because of a bat flip. It really is funny to me that there are fans that either refuse to look at the entire play or refuse to think Bautista did anything wrong.

Lets get one thing straight. The slide was dirty, im not defending that at all. Bush sent a message, Bautista sent one right back. What gets me is the complete lack of taking any responsibility by you guys. Did you also notice that Odor wasnt even aiming at first base with his throw? No, you didnt, he aimed his throw directly at Bautista. That is why im laughing. And yes, the Royals sent us packing, by 1 run because of a home run that was in no way shape or form a home run. The MLB doesnt like the Blue Jays, it was quite apparent in both umpire decisions, and the announcers calling the game. Its an American past time, which i completely get. I think its just unfair how judgmental you guys are being.

The slide was dirty. Bautista admitted to trying to slide into Odor. That was obvious. Bautista stayed standing for way too long which is why Odor threw low. MLB Network, ESPN and other "experts" said you are taught to throw to make the runner duck and get down. I did see where he threw it way low, as Bautista started his slide at the base. Did it deserve a punch to the face? Probably not but both got in each other's face and as Barry Melrose said "you are taught to hit first since the age of 5. I'm disappointed in my Jays". Lol. Responsibility? We will take it. We will take the suspension and move on and be ok with it. Just as we expect the Jays fans to take responsibility and accept when their players are suspended. Getting beaned for showing someone up is an unwritten rule. Bautista took it another step further, and then Odor did as well. Simple as that. Best of luck rest of season and I truly do hope we meet in the playoffs; would be a great series!

The support for a punch here is incredible. What did Bautista do? Oh right, he flipped his bat last season, what a horrible human being. Derek Holland wiped his but with a rally towel a kid dropped into the bullpen. Thats got respect written all over it.....Some of you guys make me laugh.

Bautista is a classless jack*** dating back to last year's playoffs. Then that classless slide making no attempt to hold the back showing it was a **** play. ***** got knocked the **** out and deserved it.

Punk*** so deserved that.

For a bat flip? Holland wiped his A** with a childs rally towel. Relax buddy. I can see your bias shining through

ON BEHALF OF FORMER AND CURRENT MLB PLAYERS, I WOULD LIKE TO THANK ROUGNED ODOR FOR THAT BEAUTIFUL PUNCH.

Your Joey Bats is a douchebag and everyone knows it.

Bautista loves playing the "villain" role. When he does his job and hits HRs he wants the attention on him. He wants to show up pitchers, talk trash around the bases and io his bat into next week. No problem there. But you can't be surprised that people get enjoyment out of it when someone puts him in his place. He took a hard slide at Odor, got up and walked toward him. Odor pushed him, Bautista walked back with he left hand on Odor and his right hand starting to clinch...Odor was just faster.

Yeah and Odor is a choirboy. I forgot. Should I show you videos of him sliding hard into second trying to end careers and starting fights? No? Ok don't want to ruin you agenda. I don't care if hes a douchebag in your eyes. Give me 40 HRs and 100 RBIs a year and id say hes earned the right to be a douchebag.

Oh I don't think Bautista is not at fault here, at all. I just find it funny how everyone is forgetting Odor is known for this type of crap and yet all of you guys are praising him for punching someone. Its actually quite comical. Dez Bryant is a huge ****** on the field, but I can guarantee if Josh Norman swung at him like that you wouldn't be on Normans side.

I think you may be blinded by your bias. Bautista acted like an ***. Got beaned. The retaliation for that is to get beaned as well. He wanted more than that and went after Odors legs (even admitting to going after him). Not a single poster has said Odor is a choir boy but after the events Bautista did (wasnt a one time thing) I am ok with what Odor did knowing it will bring a suspension. And dont guarentee something you know nothing about either. If Dez blatantly went after Normans legs or had a dirty hit (see Beckam) and Norman punched him I certainly would be ok with it. Make a dirty play, better be ready for the consequences. I don't care who you play for. After Odors dirty slides, someone socks him...so be hit. I'll move on. Not cry about how "funny" it is that fans react a certain ways just because it happened to a team a cheer for.
