Not on here, but I've been saying for months, Cleveland needs to find a third team and basically deal Kevin Love for Carmelo Anthony. I know many here will criticize this, but for starters, you lose nothing on defense by making this move. You may even gain a little bit by making it, but you aren't worse defensively. Second, yes you are adding another ball dominant player, but you're also adding a guy who can play off the ball when needed and can create his own shot much better than Love. And finally, say what you want about Carmelo, but he does not shrink/disappear in big moments. He hasn't had a ton of them, especially since coming to NY, but he is not one to shy away from pressure situations.

I think Melo would waive his no trade clause to go to Cleveland, but the problem is NY would have no interest in Love. The key is finding some team that wants Love, and has assets NY wants.

No way they trade a 27 year old KLove for a 32 year old Anthony who's best years are behind him.

Just as no way you predict anything that is a sure thing.

You are gloating over one game? Seriously, you make me laugh. The Cavs are suppose to win at home. They haven't accomplished anything by winning game 3 or even if they win game 4.

You are making false predictions so you can expect to be called on it gently. I didn't see him gloat but he certainly pointed out your erroneous prophesy. So don't mock others when they point it out.

And they accomplished something by winning by not getting into a 3-0 hole which is a good thing. If they win again they will accomplish tying the series home and home which is a good thing. It is nonsensical to say they accomplished nothing.

I don't mind eating crow when I am wrong. I carry a bottle of tobacco at all time for such occasions.

Winning at home is to be expected. It's not an accomplishment to be celebrated, neither will be the Cavs winning game 4. The Cavs winning this Finals is a joke. So keep me entertained by thinking it could happen. I want you to want it real bad. LOL

Well, get your dinnerware out and secure your napkin.

I didn't make any predictions so take your ad hominem attacks and deflections elsewhere. I don't give a crap who wins or loses and likely won't know until it hits the major news.

Your behavior is bordering on personal attacks. Tone it down! /mod hat off

Personal? No, I just follow the game of basketball more than most and know the odds for the Cavs winning the Finals this year are... to be kind, not good. When we have wide swings in momentum with the change of venue, the home team wins 9 of 10 times. Guess where game 7 is played? By the way, I'm not a fan of either of these teams so I don't give a crap who wins or loses either but that's not what it takes to see the odds in the betting world are leaning heavy in one direction.

Statistically speaking Kevin Love's best days are behind him as well and right now Melo is better without the benefit of playing with a Lebron or Kyrie. Love's value, especially if CLE wins with a similar line up in game 4, will drop faster than Melo, who in a down year put up 21.8 ppg, 7.7 rpg (2nd highest of his career btw), 4.2 apg (career high btw).

And the age doesn't matter much when CLE's window for a championship is now. Yes in 4 years, Love will only be 32 (he turns 28 before the season starts, Melo will not turn 33 until well into the playoffs) and Melo will be 36, but by then, Cleveland's chance at a trophy will be gone.

Cleveland loses again... third time in four games. Going back to Oaktown to close out the season.

In my opinion the Cavs have the same problem that all Lebron James teams has had.... ball movement.
Too many time its one on one, drive and kick..... no off the ball movement, very little cutting. I call this the "Lebron offense", its never been aesthetically pleasing imo.

The years he won the Heat was physical, & their D was stellar, they faced another iso team in OKC, then a team that had them on the ropes but let them off in SA....

Now that he's older Lebron is going have to allow a coach with a solid offensive philosophy take the helm, and he's going to have to be willing to work without the ball on more occasions then he does...

just my two cents...

GS is proving their metal once again.

lol:

According to ESPN's Amin Elhassan, Jordan one day found out that the animated bull races the Bulls showed on their Jumbotron were prerecorded. So he started asking the Bulls' operations staff before each game, which color bull would win the race that night. They would tell him and then Jordan would use this information to trick his teammate Scottie Pippen into a bet.

So whenever the Jumbotron race would occur during a timeout, Jordan would bet Pippen a hundred dollars that he could name the winner. Unaware that Jordan had insider information on the race, Pippen would agree to the bet and then instantly lose. According to Elhassan, Jordan did this for basically an entire season and Pippen just kept agreeing, losing a hundred dollars to his teammate at every home game.

I also said GS in 4 or 5 games, Copernicus. You are the one getting caught up in one of a hundred things I've said. Are you a fan or a stalker? Either way... creepy!

Wrong! You said sweeeept!

And I quote..."So what! The Cavs aren't a better 3pt shooting team that GS. They're getting swept."

Yes there is a lot of nervousness in OKC right now but I think he signs the one year deal and we revisit this next summer. I actually think he is more inclined to stay than most think since he helped build OKC into a contender and I think Billy Donovan could be a great nba coach. I think KD wants to win and only GS or SA would offer that opportunity. Going to NY, Lakers, or Washington and he's starting at the bottom all over again. OKC actually kinda suits KD more than most realize. That said, I am somewhat objective and I have never thought he had a killer instinct so while OKC stays relevant with him, it will take some serious coaching by Billy's D. or some outside help to get him a ring in OKC. I actually see GS being the most attractive spot for him outside OKC because they could form a dynasty surpassing that of Chicago and realistically win about six in a row, plus it's a bigger market and a fun style to play with.

I could see him being very interested in GS and I wouldn't discount SA yet either. I could see them being very interested in him. I'd like him to stay but they're going to have to get a killer to go with him because right now they just don't have it.

The Warriors are just too good from top to bottom. And the Cavs play an awful brand of Basketball. They are just so stagnant, no ball movement. It's just ugly to watch. Reminds me of okc the last 2 games where they stopped playing team ball and lost because of it. Also if they haven't figured it out by now they might as well get their eye sight checked. But Kevin Love is hot garbage. Stop trying to get him involved he's a waste of time.

It's sad to see that the representative of the East is not even the 3rd best team in the NBA.

Never said I didn't say that but I also said the following quote...

GS in 4 or 5. Cleveland is over their heads.

You're an emotional mess getting caught up in just one thing I've said. Why are you so emotional? I'm allowed to be wrong you know. You're quick to point it out but somehow miss to point out when I'm right. Why is that? Are you just interested in half truths? I've never denied what I've said, right or wrong. If you want to blame me for when I'm wrong then you better darn well give me credit for when I'm right and that quote of mine saying "GS in 4 or 5" is still a good prediction. Also.. "getting swept" is describing what has happened upto that point in time which was absolutely true at the time it was said, GS had won 2 games and the Cavs had won none... that is in the process of getting swept(future tense). GS was not able to complete the sweep so, bad on them but I didn't know that at the time, I was just descibing what had happened so far. You seem to be very butthurt emotional about the Cavs going down and lashing out in retaliation over cherry picked quotes. You never considered the fact I also said "GS in 4 or 5" and you never would have because it contridicts your accusations.
