Mets are a fun team to watch to be honest. Today there is a great match up. Giants at Mets. Bumgarner vs Syndergaard. Awesome game in a rainy day. Hope Yankees win tonight.

8 in row-and Mets pitchers walked the house today. Conforto is the man. The kid can hit with the best of them. The Mets are a fun team to watch. Double play combo of Walker and Cabrerra is pretty good. Maybe not the greatest range but they are dependable and sure handed.

Yankees wont win as many games as the Mets. Making .500 is probably the Yankees goal and that might be iffy.

Yanks are a year away. They'll right the ship by end of this year.

The Yankees are "dogging" themselves... Right now they're a "car-wreck" of a team and I do not see a good ending to this story. You've got a great relief corps. The starting staff is an absolute mess. And the offense is old and stale. Could be a 70-win team.

I think the only thing that's going to be interesting for the Yankees is how much of the team gets blown-up.

They have so many guys that flat out stink at the moment.

Remember last year when the Mets could buy a run for the longest time. They turned it around.

I agree. Yankees relied on HR a few years ago and it didn't end well for us. Mets are either scoring a ton or just shooting blanks. Situational hitting is not promising so far

Go Mets!!!! Rizzo and Jim Joyce got into a shouting match after the game last night because of the new slide rule. Earlier this year the Nationals were not complaining when the very same call was made against the Mets and the Nats won.

Suck it Nationals.

Sadly that was the last time we beat them, 4-9 against them this year, with all of the injuries we have, hopefully we will be a 2nd half team.

Mets will be in the fight for a playoff spot.

The Yankees are a .500 team at best.

Honestly they simply aren't as good as many of the teams in front of them.

I'd just as soon see them dump whomever they can at the trading deadline. They need to get younger.

The Mets are in trouble. The pitching has faltered........Harvey is gone, Wheeler is still a ways off, Thor and Matz have bone-spurs in their elbows. DeGrom really is the last man standing at this point, not including fat Bartolo

Cespedes is battling a muscle injury which might keep him in and out of the line-up for the rest of the games. The offense overall sucks big time. Over this past weekend(which we got swept), the Mets had 13 lousy hits........seems to be the norm for them.

They will go on 4-5 game offensive outbursts, then it is back to pathetic. If they don't have multiple HR games, they lose because they do not manufacture runs. Our catcher(s) can not throw anyone out.......some teams have figured out that is key to beating this team.

In all honesty, the Mets don't have the horses to compete for the division and I am not too sure about a wildcard spot. Terry Collins has no idea how to use the pitchers and our hitting coach needs fired!

Loney at 1st is much better than Duda(hope he doesn't play for the Mets again). Wright needs to call it quits too
