How so?To me that's a bad reflection on the 'Boys FO draft prep.

That's because he was a WR at TCU & Louisiana-Lafayette. Website never updated.John Stephens listed as WR on team website.
You are right, Mckeon is gone. But lets look at the others on the roster and it becomes clear why we should be looking at TE or at least have TEs going into the offseason:McKeon is gone but they still have seven tight ends: Ferguson, Schoonmaker, Hendershot, Princeton Fant, John Stephens, Spann-Ford, and Holler.
Spann-Ford might make the team over Hendershot. Both guys have issues with drops but there's a much higher ceiling with Spann-Ford.You are right, Mckeon is gone. But lets look at the others on the roster and it becomes clear why we should be looking at TE or at least have TEs going into the offseason:
Jake Ferguson is a keeper and ready to go
Schoonmaker had offseason shoulder surgery - when will he be ready for offseason work?
John Stephens is coming off a torn ACL
Peyton Hendershot is an overrated JAG going into the last year of his contract
Princeton Fant - who knows about this guy
Probably need Spann-Ford and Holler just to have guys to use to get through offseason programs. Also, it's not like most of the TEs on the roster aren't replaceable. The only one that has proved to have any worht in games is Ferguson.
All in!I suspect that they sign Zeke and they will be open for trade and will have a shot at any back that is cut.
Spann-Ford appears to be a good blocker and when you follow the money that they gave him it looks like he will make the team.Spann-Ford might make the team over Hendershot. Both guys have issues with drops but there's a much higher ceiling with Spann-Ford.
I hope someone bumps Hendershot off the roster.Spann-Ford might make the team over Hendershot. Both guys have issues with drops but there's a much higher ceiling with Spann-Ford.
Don't forget Princeton Fant.Spann-Ford appears to be a good blocker and when you follow the money that they gave him it looks like he will make the team.
1. Ferguson
2. Shoemaker
3. Stephens
4. Spann-Ford
Is he 25 and injury prone too?Great, we get the same guy we wasted a 2nd rounder on last year

Fant yes that was the name i forgot..McKeon is gone but they still have seven tight ends: Ferguson, Schoonmaker, Hendershot, Princeton Fant, John Stephens, Spann-Ford, and Holler.
Ferguson is a terrible run blocker. Can he improve? Everyone can improve. But none of our TEs blocked last year, and it was a problem. The top two guys aren’t going anywhere, but this kid at 6’6” 270, 4.7 forty, is lean and mean. You can fine video of him against Ohio State and Illinois, punishing defenders. I’ll be shocked if he doesn’t make the team. AgreedFergy is a Pro Bowler
Schoon should take a 2nd year leap and improve his blocking. Remember Schultz took 2-3 years before he took off.
Hendershot may be out of luck.
Stephens Jr. showed a ton of upside he before tearing his ACL.
Spann-Ford shows upside. Willing and improving blocker with huge frame. Think he makes the 53 over Hendershot
I would be fine with him if he would just pull his head out of his ***. Looked good as a rookie and then last year looked like he did not belong.I hope someone bumps Hendershot off the roster.
