Looks like from what i've read of him so far, he's a tackling machine at ILB.... team captain, Defensive Player of the Year in the MVFC.. and very durable, no injuries i read of so far....so you never know with these UDFAs... some aren't all bums or Home Depot bound. 6'2 235.....kinda reminds me of Zack Thomas or Dat Nguyen.. He ain't no Dexter Coakley, but come on now, who is ?

Why is this signing a problem?
They are building a 90 man roster, need players at all positions to fill that out.

How can this signing possibly be considered bad?

We need goal line specialists and this guy might be good at it.

More seriously, I think Hendershot's star began fading last season, and there's going to be some opportunity for others to compete for that slot in the depth chart, particularly since Stephens is poised to give you most of what Hendershot does at TE.

Once you study the options... ie, how few there were... it's really not. Think they'd get excited about a speed guy, in the Pollard vein, but that's not a strength of this year's rookie class.
