#24 Chris Johnson or # 22 Felix? Can we discuss in retrospect?

So making plays on ST's and providing a home run dimension on offense is a bad thing, eh?

He's got 3 TD's in 3 games. Does it matter in what capacity he gets his TD's? He's a bonafide playmaker.

RW had had how many catches the Giants game?

Not to mention the 7 year 45 million dollar contract RW received.

Thre a reason JJ is among the worst GM's in the league. Right along with Cerrato and AL Davis

there is also a reason you don't post much.

I like what we have. However, looking back can be fun. For instance, I've been married for 17 wonderful years but I do occasionally sit back in the recliner and remember what once was when I was tearing up the clubs.[/quote]

can I just say it, felix is so much more well spoken and respectable than chris is.
What does is speech have to do with anything? Is he going to report for us or something?

he is a millionare, even mike(irvin) hired a speech coach because he understood how important speaking is.

Chris Johnson talks like mushmouth.

does it affect his ability to play? nope.
does it affect my opinion of him? yup.

kids look up to him, I don't want kids looking up to some fool who won't learn how to speak.

Pacman Jones is better spoken than chris johnson.

This is an insane thread. The Chris Johnson fans need to get a tissue and either get over it or shuffle on down to Nashville. Are there still even Mendenhall fans left??? I can't believe anyone has the stones to compare Felix and that lazy waste of a player. His poor work ethic, consistency (one year wonder) and attitude were the biggest knocks on him coming out, the fact that it dropped a top 15 pick to the bottom of the first clearly indicates that all teams were aware and seriously concerned about him, and rightly so.

Cowboys do NOT lead the league in rushing if not for Felix Jones. Period. This is not even debatable.

And cry all you want about Percy Harvin, it was a wetdream, he was never on the Cowboys' board due to off the field issues.

Thanks for taking the fun out of the thread. :( My feelings are so hurt.

we should just cut him now

Jones could be as good or better than Johnson if he can stay healthy. I am not ready to write him off as injury prone yet but getting there.

Let me guess... .you were also one of the ones who thought Romo wearing his hat backwards was "disrespectful."

nope.

I think romo should wear it a little cocked to the side.

the way a guy dresses isn't close to how he speaks, I can dress like a thug and still be well spoken.

Here's what people thought of Chris Johnson way back when. I remember because I started a thread to point out that Chris Johnson was a better fit for Dallas than Darren McFadden would have been.

It's interesting to go back and see what people really said

As of today, Felix has his injuries and Chris Johnson has had his share as well, so with their rookie years in the books, it's still too close to call, because you never know who is going to be the most healthy in the long term. Felix may get over it, despite how bleak it is now.

Bottom line: It's still too close to call, both are exciting players.

Jones IS better! Look at his per rush average- 10.1 to 6.6. Sure CJ has more attempts, but Felix was at nine point something before MNF. His average is actually getting higher as the season goes along. What more can you ask for. Look, it is VERY early in this guy's career. All he can control is what he does with the ball, which is make things happen.

All he does is rip off chunks of ten yards EVERY time he touches the ball. He's the most electric player we've had here since TD. Just give him a chance to get & stay healthy, then watch him make a real difference in Big D.

What more can we ask for? A healthy season? Double digit carries in a game? I wonder how Parcells would have handled him. He hasn't been healthy enought to even come close on attempts. It's very likely he wouldn't have such a lofty ypc avg. So far Johnson has a trip to the probowl on his resume. I love watching felix run but until he makes a season long sustained impact and makes a probowl. Johnson has had the better career to date.
