seems like the teams in our divisions are making moves because they fear the 2010 dallas buehlers.

So... a 5th for Sims. Not a bad deal for them.

So either the Boys could obtain a player like Atogwe for a lot less, but on the flip side expect a lot less in trading one of their own players (rumored - Barber, Spears, Crayton, Carpenter). I don't forsee any players being traded, but just saying.

This will definitely be an interesting draft w/a lot of vets being traded with the uncapped season imo.

Some people think we could get a high 3rd for Barber.:lmao2:

He wasn't playing well before his hamstring injury, according to PFF. He had a negative rating in every single game before and after he hurt his hamstring, and his two worst games came before the injury.

In his past 29 games, PFF has given him a positive rating in ONE game. That's atrocious.

Yea, the guy is a bust so I am not sure why everybody on this board has a hard on for him all of a sudden.

The Eagles added one of the worst linebackers in the league and we got fans saying, "why are we doing nothing"???

Sim is OK, nothing special... Small and can be ran at.

He would be good in a true Tampa-2, but in the Eagles attacking defense I think he is going to get exposed for over-pursuing and not being able to hold his ground.

Funny, most of the people in Dallas were dubbing Roy Williams as the second coming as soon as we acquired him. Hell, the guy has turned in two pathetic years in Dallas and people are still standing behind the guy. Add to that the fact that we gave up FAR MORE to acquire the waste of oxygen. I think the Eagles did a damn good job getting Sims for a fifth.

The truth hurts, you can knock them all you want. But at least they didn't get raped by the freaking Lions for a below-average player.

He wasnt a below average player when we traded for him.

He's had two subpar years here, but he was not a below average player when we got him.

There isnt a team in football that would have called Ernie Smis a better, or even equal player to Roy Williams. It's laughable to even suggest it.

he isn't even "below average"

not to mention this off season has been crazy with the trades and the values, you can't compare this market to any other one in the past, IMO.

It's laughable to suggest that the Eagles somehow screwed up trading for Sims while only giving up a fifth. We gave up a nut to get a guy who had a single 1,000 yard season under his belt. Now, he's on a far superior team and he's performing far worse. We like to laugh at everyone else and their moves, but we screw things up just as often. Our legendary trades began with Galloway and it continues with Roy Williams.

They gave up a 5th rd pick for a scrub LB. The guy may have been released anyway. He's been the picture of mediocrity.

Roy Williams was never mediocre in Detroit. Alot of teams would have given up quite a bit to trade for the guy. Nobody was going to give up much for Sims.

Again the position you've taken is comical. I dont even know why your comparing the two, they are totally different situations.
