remember when Belichick went 8-8 3 years in a row, yea me NEITHER.
Do you even know what Bill's record was his first 3 seasons?
Please stop embarrassing yourself.

That was a Larry Lacewell move..... not a Garrett move but Garrett did hold the door open and made them some coffee when they arrived........
I wouldnt keep JG on as water boy at this point.

He just slipped a bit lol
The new improved Jason Garrett lasted for 6 games.....or until HC was needed.....LOL.........same oL Garrett ..nuthing new
Garrett just got outcoached by Haslett...........let that sink in awhile.
I still can't blame Jason except for the teams mental preparation. The other three coaches failed big time.
I will dog on Garrett if it was his decision to let Romo back in, that was a mistake. But, I would bet big bucks that Jerry told him to do so.............
You'd have rolled with Weeden there, with two minutes from our own two, after he'd already bobbled a handoff because he doesn't take the snaps during the week earlier in the game? You want to see him manage those blitzes with his ability to change the protection in a two minute drill with the running game off the table? I think that would have been disastrous.
Sorry, but if Tony's able to get on the field, I'm rolling with him. I"m not even asking myself the question, honestly. And I'm sure Garrett and Linehan didn't even think about the alternative, either.
Is Jason Garrett of the Dallas Cowboys #1 in our NFL head coach power rankings?

In today’s NFL the head coach is in a hard position. When his team wins, his players get all the credit. When his team loses, he gets all of the blame. If the season falls apart, a head coach often loses his job even if it’s not his fault.
That being said, there are still some head coaches out there who are so valuable to their teams that their jobs are totally secure.
These ten coaches represent the best of the best in the NFL. Either by winning championships or building contending programs, these guys have a strong foundation and should be successful or a long time to come.
Who is at the top of the list? You’ll just have to click through to find out. Here they are: the top ten most powerful head coaches in the NFL:
10. Jim Harbaugh – San Francisco 49ers (4-3)
Yes we’ve all heard the rumors. Harbaugh is such a boorish clown that the 49ers front office almost traded him to the Cleveland Browns. It doesn’t matter, because Harbaugh has taken his team to three consecutive conference championship games...
Wrong. Wrong. Wrong. Weeden put up more points than Romo. 10. WOuld have been 14 had Dez not dropped a TD. Romo was off ALL night. Probably took a shot to play the game. And definitley took one to get back in the game. Romo did not move the ball in the last 2 mins. And he did not move the ball in OT. The egoes are out in Dallas. And the best architect of a 6-1 team was not going to miss an opportunity to show the world how good he looked in headsets....or how well he could deliver a medical report....or how good of a motivator he is with the helmet tap prior to Romo taking the field. And Rocky Balboa was not going to miss a chance to show he is playing the best ball of his life. And Garret, the pizza delivery guy....was simply waiting to take his orders from the Ringmaster or Comeback Kid. But garrett should not feel bad...the Comeback Kid shook off the doctors as well. Never thought we would go 15 - 1 .....but when you lose....and all of your warts bubble to the surface...and those warts are egoes.....then that is a bad sign of things to comeYou'd have rolled with Weeden there, with two minutes from our own two, after he'd already bobbled a handoff because he doesn't take the snaps during the week earlier in the game? Garrett just got outcoached by Jay Gruden...........let that sink in awhile.

The Commanders game did not help his quest in getting a new contract
You base this on the same information that Tom Brady on his death bed at the beginning of this season as well...and this game with Washington had Romo injured for a significant part of the game.
