Fools? Guyton and BeeBe are beasts. Dawgs. This is a young mans game. It doesn’t matter how you start, but how you finish. 75% of this board will call for a tank if the Cowboys lose this game. I hope you’re not going to the dark side.
I have. I issue with the players. There’s just not a rich history of teams contending with 4 rookie starters. Maybe it works. It’s just not proper roster building for a team with so many guys on one year deals.

Four rookies starting game #1 is a Cowboys record. They started three rookies on opening day three times in the past.

The most obvious performance will be Caelon Carson's. It would take film analysis to evaluate the others, minus an obvious sack total by the Browns defense.

All four rookies will be picked on, for sure. However, CB's action is mostly isolated.
The Dallas Cowboys have started four rookies on opening day, most notably during the 2016 season. That year, they started quarterback Dak Prescott, running back Ezekiel Elliott, cornerback Anthony Brown, and defensive tackle Maliek Collins.

Oh! Now you want to bring Dak into the conversation. Dak loves you, but does not know you...how embarrassing,

It's funny. And I think it will actually be 5 rookies. Kneeland is a stud too.

Fans wanted change after last year. We couldn't run the ball in the playoffs so we got 2 new starting linemen and the return of Zeke. We couldnt stop the run either so got 2 new starting LBs, and some new dlinemen.

In total we overturned a quarter of our roster year over year which is pretty much average.

Don’t forget a totally new defensive scheme.

I can’t remember the last time the Cowboys started the season with 4 rookie starters and those are some critical positions. It’s a testament to the scouting department working along with the coaches and of course ultimately the GM.

There will be some growing pains. I’m not predicting a Cowboys loss, but if they do it’s not the end of the world although many here will call for Jerry to tank after the first 3 and out. So be patient early in the season. It’s not how you start, it’s how you finish.
Excellent draft.

we gotta hit on the 2025 draft too.

It's also a testament to ignoring free agency and relying completely on the draft to replenish your roster.

Grade the Cowboys on a curve here. They have no choice but to play rookies.

And why didn't the OP want to talk much about the 2023 class? That steaming pile of crap.
No disrespect to Guyton or Beebe because I’m excited about both but yeah… the mighty competition of Edoga and Hoffman.

And it’s either Liafau or another season of a 190lb safety getting mowed down. Carson is only in because of injury.

But in fairness, the other season it happened in 2016, Dak was forced to step in, Zeke was purposefully drafted in the first to be the starter now just like Guyton, and so on….
