We should remain focused on what we do.......we've been down this road before......you play whoever is on your schedule........win, lose, or draw.

The 49ers show up every week with consistency.
They did stomp the BUCS 35 to 7. A team Dallas has lost to the last two times they have played.
They dominated Dallas last year in the playoffs game and Brock Purdy put up 23 points against the Chiefs and sure appears to be an upgrade over Jimmy G. Dak put up 9 points against the Chiefs last year. There are plenty of good reasons why Dallas should be the underdog in a 49ers matchup. Dallas needs to build momentum and confidence to have a chance to beat the 49ers. And a win against the BUCS and Eagles would help a lot.
Brock Purdy didn’t play against the Chiefs. It’s weird that despite their consistency they’ve somehow managed the same record as Dallas against a much easier schedule. I guess it’s easy if you just ignore the times they weren’t consistent

As of this week, the 49ers could secure the #1 seed in the final week of the season with a win over the lowly Cardinals and a loss by the Eagles. But as good as everyone seems to believe their defense is, and as surprising as rookie QB Brock Purdy has been, have the 49ers actually been tested this season?

In their only game against another top NFL team, they got blown out by 21 points against the Chiefs, who beat them 44-23. In their other game against a winning team, they beat wildcard playoff team the LA Chargers by a mere 6 points, 22-16, while playing at home.

With a 1-1 record against winning teams, and a -15 point differential in those two games, is it really wise to be scared of playing the 49ers?

There are only 10 winning teams in the NFL currently, so that will be the case for many teams

The Cowboys could be a tough out. And perhaps they shouldn’t be afraid of anyone.

All SF can do is win the games on their schedule. And they’ve won 9 in a row. They are the only top seeded NFC team with prior playoff success with the best defense and several offensive weapons despite a young QB.

Which I’d argue makes them the favorite to win the conference . But I wouldn’t count out two other teams that also have championship experience.

I certainly wouldn’t want to face a hot Packers team and Rodgers nor the GOAT in a single elimination game.

Dallas, Minn and Phil are all unproven playoff commodities. Dallas with Prescott at least has a little more playoff exposure but no success.

I suppose it’s a little more open in NFC but don’t be surprised with an early exit in Tampa. Until we show we can win a playoff game on the road most will be skeptic. Doesn’t mean we can’t hold some hope.

We appear to be a little more evenly matched than prior seasons but that monkey on our backs is still there until it’s knocked off.

9 game win streak and the best defense in football. What are you talking about?

Interesting. I'm not expecting the 49ers to turn out to be a fools gold team, but I suppose it's possible. Every time I've seen them play this season, they've looked like an extremely good team.

They’ve played 4 games against teams that are currently 8-8, Bucs, Dolphins and twice against the Seahawks.

In addition to the 6 winning teams the Cowboys have played, winning 5 of the 6, the Cowboys have also played 4 games against teams with 8-8 records: the Jags, Bucs, Lions and Packers.
this isnt a good way to evaluate any team. And if you do, then look at the teams record when game was actually played, not end of season records.
It also matters when they play a team, like phil was winning team but hurts wasnt playing. etc etc.

the Purdy kid is lighting it up. The guy is just amazing in my book. Dangerous when he gets outside the pocket. Reminds me of Mahomes just a little.

Rams got decimated right from the start.
I think I saw they have played 14 offensive linemen this year....plus Cooper Kupp and Stafford...plus they lost Von Miller and OBJ from last year.
A shell of themselves. Ugly stuff

Seattle has been better than expected. I'd say they are about like the Giants

NFCE better for sure

To be fair, they built the SB team using free agent mercenaries. Obviously I’d take a SB win in a heartbeat even if it meant being terrible the next season, but that’s the risk you take when you go top-heavy.

True that their depth was an issue due to top heavy roster.
Other than OBJ, I don't really think they did through it Free Agency "mercenaries" though.

Trades? yes

years ago the Ramsey trade
Stafford trade
Miller trade

Hmmm, but the entire sports world has already crowned them.

How many teams have losing records because they played the 49ers? Did they have losing records at the time they played them? What does any of this have to do with the Cowboys? Do we think they are not ready for the playoffs finally? They have as good a chance as anyone and are fairly healthy.

They are extremely untested and have benefited from a very soft schedule this season. Honestly pretty similar to the Eagles.

I will say they are still a very deep and well constructed team, but the win total is somewhat misleading.
