Only the NFL team owners can fix this mess. They need to demand % salary limits (based on a yearly salary cap) be set for every position, especially the top team salary costing positions, if they ever are going to give all teams a chance to truly be competitive.

Man these guys just lose it when it comes to players salaries...I don't know why people are so focused on it. THe more the guys make the more the salary cap is.

No, They are literally letting him play out his final year and are prepared to trade him for a resonable return or let him leave.

The biggest difference is the Cowboys will cave on CeeDee.

The cap increase/decrease is a formula negotiated into the current CBA. It is not controlled by owners or players sans renegotiating the issue. Those that clamor for additional controls are fans of teams run by idiots.
