Wins and loses are what I go by.
Dak and Romo tied for 107 in playoff win losses.
Chad P, Garcia, Plummer and Anderson I would say are all very fair comparisons of Dak. There is a reason they played for multiple teams also.
BC their original teams would not commit to them being the guy. All were good, none were great.

I know! Can you believe it? I can't understand why some posters cannot appreciate one playoff win in 7 years. What the hell do they want from him. Weapons?
so now you are trying to spin into something else.

the premise was there are zero highlights in playoffs. it was proven that's not the case.

now you are spinning into something totally different. a whole separate discussion on 43 other threads just for that.

why am I not surprised.

They went into the 4th quarter down 14-10. The offense came alive in the 4th quarter to the tune of 2 TDs. They did run out the clock on the final drive.

It is still a 4th quarter comeback. I get you only care about the emotional jollies.
Prescott completed 3 passes in the 4th Quarter - one of those 3 was to the Seahawks.

Clutch.

but we won the game right? I thought that's how people measure it. because nobody else is at fault except the QB when we lose and when we win, its everybody else. right?

its a comeback. 1 point. 10 points. 4 points. but go ahead with your badself and set a bar somewhere. and then move the bar.
A "comeback" used to include an element of improbability. Whether it be time remaining, or necessary points to score, or both. Nobody got excited about a one score deficit entering the fourth quarter. QB's/offenses were expected to score points in the 4th quarter.

You new-age point provers have hijacked the traditional understanding of the term and rendered it essentially meaningless.

Good job.

yeah, people moving the goal posts. apply that same measure to some of the greats, then they don't look so good, yet here we are and people tend to throw the numbers around.

good job of moving the goal posts....keep doing it.

The goal posts are still planted firmly where they have always been.

You've moved them because..... OOH LOOK! STATS!!!

You're right about one thing; Here we are.

One would ask the obvious question at this point.

Who are you Dakies trying to convince.
Less than 60 days left thank God.

On the final drive where the Cowboys "won" the game they were already leading - they had a 14 play drive to seal the game. Dak attempted 4 passes, completing zero of them. Clutch.
DPI's are considered misses now?

Pass 1: Thrown out of bounds
Pass 2: DPI
Pass 3: DPI
Pass 4: Sideline miss to Gallup

**Not to mention Dak's 15 yd run half yard short of the TD.

Final drive starts at 1:51:40

You weren't around back then but I can assure you Captain Comeback didn't earn that title on the backs of one score deficits at 15:00 of the fourth qtr.

But hey, don't let history get in the way of your illogical ranting.

Have a good night, and don't hurt yourself with all that heavy lifting.

Yeah, I figured you’d run
From proving your assertion? Look up burden of proof and assertions in argumentation and get back to me.

You are basically asking a question, assuming the answer and then asking me to contradict your assumption.

Your claim, your need to back it up.

I'm responding to the people that say it doesn't happen. Since when do I have to prove your point?

You can handwave at the SF game soe more if it makes you feel better.
Dallas playoff record is 2 wins, 4 losses.

I will acknowledge that Dak is a leader.

As for Dak being a leader and leading the Dallas team to a playoff victory I can't recall any games where this occurred.

It's so funny how many people, people that have been saying that he is not clutch, have quoted me to just tell me that they are not changing their minds.

This thread defines what Cowboys football has become.

A once great francise that now invents clutch memories of perceived wild card comebacks.
The thread started with 50 minutes of GWD. What's sad is that is now ignored completely for a small sample size bias.
