Davis plays ST, deuce doesn’t. I agree RJ makes it with Davis.
It’s still early and injyries always change things
A couple of the young guns will be on IR
Also have to factor in who you can and don’t think you can, get to PS
Deuce is splitting returns with Turpin at the very least and that's ST. 99 percent chance he makes the 53

Was watching the Green Bay/Dallas game the other day & Malik looked pretty good.
I saw that each time the kid was in the game. He had juice, live legs, and 0 hesitation. I saw a decisive runner that hits it full speed instantly. Hes the running back we need between the tackles. He and Deuce with 20 might be the best trio in the league. I feel confident in saying that.

Have you looked at his returns in college
Didn’t do returns at all last 2 years. Had 7 total kick returns for very little success and never returned punts. Why would he be splitting returns with one of the top returners in the nfl?

Here ya go!

I think Turpin is released, and only 2 QB's is a mistake.

What do you think is wrong here?
In this day and age, you can keep two QBs because you can put a vet on the PS. No real reason to carry three unless your third one is someone you don't want to risk to waivers. Considering that Grier passed through waivers last year to be put on the PS, I don't think that's a problem.

Turpin is actually a middle of the pack returner....

Fehoko WR probably not going to beat out the 3 new WR's
Yeah, I'm not seeing it either. I think the last spot comes down to Houston and the rookies. Of course, if Tolbert shows no improvement, he could be thrown in with that group as well. Outside of the top three and Turpin as a return man, it could be fairly wide open.

He was 6th in the NFL as a kick returner and 5th as a punt returner. That’s middle of the pack?
Punt return stats are muddy. Does a fair catch count as a return? What about field position when the other team punts?

Stat wise, yards per return, hes around 9 or 10 or so. Which shocked me a little.

Hes by no means elite, even though he has elite speed. But he was also worn down after playing a full season in the USFL, where he was league MVP.

I think he'll be better this year.

He was 5th in yards per return on punts. Fair catches are listed as fair catches. Yards per return are avg yards on punts returned and doesn’t include fair catches. Can’t really factor field position but every return guy generally has good and bad field position to return punts from
He will be fresher for sure but that speed and open field ability needs to be used in the passing game too. He’s more experienced than most rookies all be in college, Europe and USFL where getting open is much easier because you are moving

Yeah, not sure why they didnt try and get him more involved on offense. I don't see practices or sit in on positional meetings. Obviously there was something that coaches didnt like or trust.

I think either Moore didnt have the creativity or more likely they realized he was basically playing a 3rd straight season of games without an off season. I get that but 2 targets in a season was dumb

Cropper makes the team, imo.
I agree. The bottom of the receiver room should remain churning.

Lamb, Cooks, Gallup, Tolbert all are locks.

Simi is the competition. Tolbert makes it because he was drafted so high and needs another year to develop. Cooks should benefit in his development
